Lol no thank you.
Dear Blizzard team! I want to say thank You for murloc babies! They are so heartwarming and cute!
So long time I miss murlocs and this morning started with a big surprise when I got in my “Battle.net” and saw the present!
I dream to travel in Azeroth, Shadowlands, Outland and others worlds with these charming murloc babies. Really want to show them a world and see how they hide in their smart shells! Now adventures will be more interesting with murlocs!
Really amazing work! Murlocs fascinated my mind and heart! Want to play “World of Warcarft” more and more!
Best regards! Wish You a good luck and new creative ideas!
Wow that’s the content that will make me re-sub /s
Yes Gold buyers are really liked by Blizzard as they pay for everything 7€ more. For every 13€ you get over gold selling someone else pays 20€. So if you for example get yourself The Stargazer’s Pack with gold, Blizzard does not get 32,25€ but instead 53,25€.
By gold buyers I mean converting in game gold to bnet balance to purchase items not buying gold via tokens. I think you were referring to that (but not sure, so sorry if I’ve mis-understood)
It is actually two sides of the same coin. Because without people willing to get gold for real money, there would not be a gain of 7€ per transaction. Without people that are willing to farm for this gold so they can get real money without working for it there would not be enough gold for sale so people would not think that it is worth their money.
And it is another two side coin as the one buy gold with real money while the other buy gold for real money. But you got already what I mean.
A nice little freebie with my sub, much better than that abomination of an outfit that we had before.
Nothing about the quality of the in-game content should be pivotal to how long your subscription commitment should be, it should be based on how long you feel you’ll be playing the game for; a month or so, pay monthly… longer, then six-monthly makes better economic sense.
Overall, it’s a personal choice that doesn’t require an outpouring to the community one way or the other; store items are EXTRA to the game, not essential.
My point was about the quantity, not the quality, and of course the amount of content produced in those 6 months is paramount when deciding whether to sub for 6 months or no.
Subscriptions are advance commitments; if you have no faith in the development team to produce any content worth playing, then the only option is to pay monthly.
As I’ve said here on many occasions, I only play WoW & have no other social (major) ‘pleasures/commitments’ so my 6-monthly subscription is purely economic.
Well, that’s essentially what my post was about.
I’ve still got plenty that entertains me in game so I tend to six month sub because it’s cheapest. It’s a bonus on top that we get freebies thrown in so now and then.
I have never regretted my sub choice. I think the only expansion that made me take a large break until the next expansion was Cataclysm.
If I didn’t have an active guild who raids and does M+ I might get bored a lot sooner. I also haven’t collected everything from all the covenants yet but being able to send anima and switch on my main is making that easier.
Its nice and all, but it’s currently missing for the transmog wardrobe for me, on every character. Same goes for the renowned explorer set… And this problem is known for a long time
where is my murloc!?
They are taking the wrong approach with this if you ask me.
If they charged the mogs half the price or anything in range 5-10$, but made a lot of them for shop, they could make stacks.
But they barely design any mogs for the shop, and overprice them.
But when you think about it, Blizzard in general has very bad pricing on most their products. So this isn’t a surprise.
really? a pet???
give this advice to your “smart” marketing department… many people, me included, no… me especcially, can be easily fooled with a mount…
gg on the useless pet however
it is not a pet (arnie voice)
it is a tumour… i mean transmog
As ever, I just wish this was a gift for having been subbed for 6 months by any mechanism.
When it is promised before you sub, it’s a bribe.
Just ponder the optics, please.
I sub six monthly because it’s the cheapest option. The freebies are not what motivate me, it’s saving money.
That sprite darter set we got with the sub was hideous but I don’t care because it was a freebie. This back appearance is super cute. Not using it on my main though, really doesn’t go.
