In Russia, all goods in the Blizzard store are sold for rubles, and this mount was priced in euros) And accordingly, Russian players will not be able to buy this mount.

The mount is just a bunch of pixles, cost Blizz nothing, I like the gesture though and shall continue to sub. I wish there were no tokens and I dont farm tokens so thankyou Blizz for my gift.

Also, the reason why stores often take a loss on things like milk and bread is to get more people into their stores and make more on their other products. Always have to think about the time uk stores were selling beans at -3p.

Unrelated but I also wanted to add that every subscription model expects a certain amount of people to forget to unsubscribe. It’s usually low, like 3-5%, but enough to make a good difference.

Also, plenty of people keep subscriptions running even if they aren’t using them just because they “might” use them at some point. Gym and Netflix subscriptions are big there.

so desperate forum post  hows it going with retail blizzard ?

its a bummer its now to much resource cost in making cool mounts

This is what I initially thought, how cool it would’ve been as the final reward instead of the old recolored lowpoly chicken.
But then, you’d need to have a max level belf to do the quest. It would’ve been pretty restrictive, and while it suits them the best looking at the armor, now everyone else gets to have it too regardless if they have a belf or not.

One reason to like it is that it’s not as big as the cloud serpent and the worms, it’s almost half the size so it doesn’t feel too big of a mount. As I personally prefer smaller ones.

Because this is obviously a scheme for blizzard to force us back into the game and take over the world, and make everything pay to win to steal my moni

Idk, im bad at forum tinfoil hat theories

For the mount itself, im usally not a fan of the snek ones, but this one is adorable, will be going straight on my fairy mage

Free mounts are meaningless, one more thing to add to the collection of million things that aren’t earned nor sought after, that have no relevance or connection to anything in particular. You log in, you check it once, never use it again.

It was free for me, if u don’t wanna pay a sub 6 months for a reduced price that’s on u.

U get cheaper game time + a free mount, what more do u want?

I say people who play like that got zero mounts and low achiv points, guys who keeping sub all the time and play everyday got alot more stuff then a guy that don’t play.

Sure u can say it’s smart but u got nothing ingame instead.

That’s the wrong way to think about it, collecting meaningless babble and achievement points IS meaningless to most people. Play when it makes sense, when the game is fun, when you’re getting something from it, you’re not missing out if you don’t stay subbed/playing.

Mounts like Gladiator mounts that are earned have a different meaning because they are tied to activities players did within the game and with other players/friends, they are tied to memories and experiences. Having low achievement points means nothing, though individual achievements may hold some value the overall point count has no function other than offering a measuring bar for completionists, something meaningless to many people (including myself).

To be honest the only opinion whose matters to me about the game is mine, my free recreational time to me is extremely precious, time is limited so I won’t waste a moment of it doing something that doesn’t spark joy to ME…

Everyone else, is irrelevant, their opinions, their validations, it’s merely an escapist portal that means nothing in the real world.

Thus my effort, and self validation comes from activities/professions/achievements in the real world as to me they have a lot more worth.

This game, I sit on my bum, I press keys…it’s hardly rocket science.

I could understand taking pride in this world if I was an Esports Athlete, or a Streamer.

But I’m not, this is just something I like to do when I am relaxing…

The tabard is for classic only. The ones you can buy from the BMAH can’t be used in classic.

The mount looks like a Blizzard draconic style miniature mount version of the Leviathan summon from the Final Fantasy series.

Neither do you, you don’t even own the account you are playing on.

I have a measly 105 mounts and low achieve points simply because I unsub everytime the game gets “unfun” and do “fun” stuff IRL (or other games) instead.

Stuff in a game you don’t enjoy doesn’t mean anything except bieing a money sink in a p2p model. (Heck it never means anything lmao).

Because alot of players (including me) feel the 6 month sub “reward” only comes out when there is content drought at the end of xpacks. And it is the only way Blizzard will retain subs, for the mount collectors.
This is also the reason why these mounts are always hella sick.
