Yeah, that might happen, but do not talk about what might happen in the future, and let’s talk about what has already happened in the past because that is real, the future is hypothetical.
How many times Bob has played for two months and after those two months, Bob has not taken any break and has continued playing other two months? How much money has been paid for, let’s say the past two years, and how much money he would have paid with a better prediction?
I do not even say Bob should have changed from one month to six in one go. But for example he could have started paying three individual months and then if he wants to continue is safe to assume he will still keep playing for the next three months so better switch to a 3-months subscription and do that 2 times, and maybe after those 9 months he could think about switching to a 6-month subscription but if he is not sure to keep another period of three and after that try with 6, because he has already been subscribed for four times the subscription he wants to try. Even if he later chooses to actually take a break, because that break actually happens and it is not hypothetical, with the money he has saved with the subscription he still won’t lose money.
Of course, if the breaks are not hypothetical and actually had happened then Bob should not switch at all, but not because there could be a hypothetical break in the future that could happen, he shouldn’t because based on what already happened one-month subscription is the best for Bob.
I’ll correct this a little bit, because Ion Hazzikostas has said himself a few years ago that players have generally become more “cyclical” in their approach to playing WoW. That is to say that players generally don’t have a running subscription anymore. They play the game intermittently – specifically whenever there’s a new patch or expansion being released. And then once players have had their fill of the new stuff, then they quit again.
And we can see that as players as well. There’s an obvious surge in player activity whenever there’s new content in the game, and then a few months later the game starts to feel a bit deserted again. Players don’t stick around all the time anymore – they quit.
What Blizzard wants is for more people to commit to the game for longer. And that is what this offer does. Blizzard don’t want players to pay for one month or a few months (that’s why there’s no gifts given for that) – they want players to pay for all the months.
If there are 12 months in a year, then it’s Blizzard’s goal to see how many players they can get to pay through all 12 months.

Actually on second thoughts, its one of those Long wavy mounts which makes me feel sick whilst riding.
Looks cool, but I’ll give it a pass due to its model.

I also have 6 months already and did get the mount, but logged on my paladin in TBC and there is no Tabard… any idea where I can get it? Or wait a bit more?
Different, looks like a cross between a mana wyrm and a dracthyr. The blood elf style reins/saddle is pretty.

i spent a good 2 minutes trying to figure out what this reminds me of. I got stuck between a naga, Dracthyr, and mana worm.
