Wondering if you could give us back the Primeval Essence vendor, just for those who couldn’t spend them in time, be4 launch, to be able to use them. Otherwise the hole work for them to gather like 420 of them will become empty-handed. No quests givers or elemental just this guy to be spawned in Orgimmar or SW.

How do you find the time to farm 420 of the currency, but not to buy the gear from the vendor? 
I still have around 800 essenses. Could be good to gear an alt or two when they hit 60 but meh. other ways.

Bloody hell, they actually did it. The vendor is gone! For absolutely no good reason. But surely a bad one. Once more erasing people’s time effort and reminding what an energy-vampiric scheme the game is.
Vendors like this in the past remained for much longer, and at least one expac would have been no problem at all, and the vendor isn’t exactly using up space or anything. And the currency cannot be obtained anymore, so it would just be a legacy nod or for people who want a somewhat easier start.
Did they even mention it anywhere I missed? Like ‘get your gear if you still want, the vendor is leaving soon’? Surely not. That would be respectful. (But in some cases they do, so they build an expectation and then if defied it constitutes deception again.)
I have enough currency for three full sets and even held back deliberately because I wasn’t sure which char to use it for. Now I have even less motivation to max another char.
But this surely makes it easy to not even consider spending one penny on the game, the totality of the many, many upsetting issues with this ‘game’. (More like disappointment simulator.)

You are exemplifying why Blizzard screws people over. Because enough people swallow it, deny all reasonable points brought, ignore how Blizzard is constantly deceiving in all kinds of ways.
you had weeks, and you knew this would happen - it happens every expansion with catch up gear in the pre patch. this is not new. The idea is NOT to let you stockpile tons of gear for characters that dont even exist yet, it is to gear up any characters you already have that might not be at a decent gear level at the time.
Not the case for Org, at least on my main.
Maybe beginning the campaign makes the vendor go away as well? Before I left for Dragon Isles it was packed with NPCs.
No, I did not know this, and how would others, if the currency is not even tied to an event? (It is still there.)
I remember the captured wyrmtongue vendor from Legion still being there for quite a while.
And if decent gear level makes sense, then it is even more reason to keep the vendor, because we put effort into it. It doesn’t make a difference because of people who saved a couple sets of an item level that is soon superceded in the expac anyway. It is basically a bit more alting-friendly.
I could only imagine that this is for pandering to crafters.
What this also means is that there is already no more access to a 20-slot reagent bag that covers up less screenspace, because, mindbogglingly again, all others (two) begin at 32. There is no smaller, cheapo one. (Also because apparently the old ones are not valid for the new bag slot. But they’re reagent type specific anyway.)
The vendor is not there on a lower level char that never touched the pre-event either.

Trolls as customers → trolls in the business.
The currency is still there. The tooltip is even right this time. No mention of event-tied currency. Thus it is still there. Account-bound. Not usable for anything. Also not gray-quality like some customers.
because stuff like this has always been just for pre-patch, its not the first time or would be even hard to find out.
You mean ask on forums and stuff and no one answers or you get contradicting answers if you are ‘lucky’?
So now you have to give me convincing proof that the pre-Legion vendor Captured Wyrmtongue for example was removed shortly after Legion was released.
Or any other expac vendor/currency examples, because I don’t remember all of them and haven’t played all of them.

In all fairness they did leave it up there for a while, even after DF release.
