Cancel your sub, buy token with gold for free playtime. Even buying from goldsellers and turning the gold into a token is cheaper than the sub itself, right now. And Blizzard gets 0 from this.
So in my realm the tokens are being sold for 9k gold. Yesterday was 16k. Does this mean that you pay for the token always the same ammount but you sell it for less prize than intended? 20€ for 9k gold is a scam xD
Oh, yes. I’m sure you had insane immersion when opening the LFG tool and seeing only GDKPs. But no - its Blizzard that ruined it with adding a token which you literally could decide not to buy and continue on with your “immersion”. There was never any “character progression” in WOTLK. Even the original WOTLK was designed to be alt friendly, and to be able to gear your alts for a week, wow insane “character progression”. The only “feeling of accomplishment after a challenging journey” you can have is in classic. There is no such thing in WOTLK
It’s exactly 9k because the tokens are broken at the moment. You can’t sell them at the AH and if you try to buy one you will get your gold back in the mail.
9k seems to be the MSRP set by Blizzard or something.
If a nuclear option was warranted, I would have taken “screw it, everything is personal loot now” over this any day. Kick the demand for gold-buying right out from under the bots, instead of giving in and joining them. It was literally put into the game EARLIER than the token was, for crying out loud.
If anything MORE gold has to go in-game with token. I need G to pay for gear, for boost, for good chance of loot AND I need G to buy token for gametime 
I buy cheap botter-gold to pay for all this - putting in more G in Wrath.

First it is not in your realm but your region. The token cost in whole EU the same.
Second when you bought a token from the shop and put it in Ah when it whas 16k worth and it took until it whas 9k until it whas bought by another player from EU then the other player payed only 9k while Blizzard generated 7K to equal out the difference.
its good there is a token tho, pointless as nobody wants to buy it from ah and help those in need and seen many players have lots of gold tho dont want to help to many goblins players and blizz should make a npc where you buy so many say 5 tokens and trade it in right away for gold instead of putting it in ah and wait a month till you can buy more ? like a CD
It is funny how they could have made a lot more profit if it was the original classic experience. Having a lot more active players (and RDF of course) would have been much better. Players would have been satisfied and blizzard could have made their greedy profit. It would have been…

The point is that some people will buy a wow token for IRL money. This money goes directly to blizzard. It´s a cash influx without doing any additional work.
Blizzards statement about it limiting RMT is just pure nonsense, like you said.
