thats temporary thats how market works when its histerical and new… and again you have retail as your reference. it made goldsellers and bots almost non existent on retail over the years. and try to think a bit… you need to buy token and then sellit… its not you buy token and blizz give you gold… no … you buy token and need to sell it to someone for gold… so you get gold and someone else looses gold… it makes absolutely nothing to economy… if prices skyroket thats temporal histerie until people will calm dawn and market settle

4 Years of Botted Gold Reserves wont cease to exist, just because tokens are a thing.
Also, Botting is still a thing in retail to this day.
Thinking the p2w aspect of the game will be hampered by this, is delusional.

Ok so you just listed bunch of random arguments which make no sense.
You could already do that, and even if you didn’t. Gold has 0 value in WOTLK apart from if you want to do GDKPs.
- You can buy couple of pieces of gear on the AH which are BoE, rest you can’t, which proves your argument completely wrong already, but I will go on.
- No one is doing dungeons anyways. Dungeons are useless. Even if you had RDF, it would literally be 10 min queues, because dungeons are a waste of time. You can literally pug a 10 man naxxramas and get more gear instead of doing a dungeon.
*First of all, GDKPs have been ongoing for a long time, and it may come to a surprise for you but guilds are pretty healthy, and nobody is gonna stop playing in a guild just because blizzard added token 
*As mentioned before, noone does dungeons anyways. Dungeons will be done at the start of every phase, to get marks quickly, which wont require you to have RDF
*Once again - RDF will NOT make people do more dungeons, queue times will be slow, it will literally be the same as the LFG tool right now. You want it just because you want to stay afk and pop into a dungeon because its easier. But you are soo against people getting gear easy because they can buy tokens, oh noo

I never said that I like GDKPs. I also never defended them. All I said is that people are doing this stuff anyways, regardless of tokens, and it is SO massive already, that blizzard cannot simply “ban GDKPs”. I have a guild which I’m playing in, and personally never even cared about people who buy their gear in GDKPs. I don’t , my guild doesn’t , many more guilds also don’t.
About the dungeons - yes. It is how the game was designed 15 years ago, I thought you wanted #nochanges. Dungeons are useless and are done only a day after you reach lvl 80. That’s why blizzard made heroic+ , just so they can add value to dungeons, but even that is not enough. Simply dungeons are useless. Also WOTLK dungeons are extremely easy, so people have no challenge in doing them. RDF will NOT change this fact

Theres still an overabundance of Gold in the System and just like in retail gold buying will not be any harder for people.
It stays p2w, Its even worse now since the barrier to entry was lowered and its risk free.
Buying Gold is now convenient and encouraged, thats the difference.

Gold Sellers were also forced to do that by overall lack of Value gold has in Retail. By the time Blizzard introduced Tokens there players would already receive hundreds of gold for simple repetitive tasks this is why the token is worth more than ten times there than it is here. You also seem to forget that overall bots in Retail are much less disruptive than they were thanks to Phasing, sharding and for gatherers making the nodes practically infinite as no matter how many bots were there you’d still be able to mine and gather herbs uninterrupted. Something that doesn’t happen in Classic. Ergo we notice and talk about bots more because their presence is more disruptive here than it is in Retail.
How much does gear cost in retail right now? I’m going to assume than Tens to hundred times more than it currently goes for in Classic. It’s a big difference that does require accustoming. No one will buy 1k gold in retail simply because it’s basically worthless.

All the names I found by simple search on Google. All of them paying for advertisement via sponsored links and google ads. Pretty sure Overgear also has ads on YouTube specifically advertising their WoW Retail gold selling services. Sure they sell gold in multiple games but somehow WoW still has very large stocks of gold even on low pop realms like Nethergarde Horde. Ergo the Bots and Sellers are still profitable enough to keep on going despite the Token.

Of course I care about the game, I’m playing it, and I like it. Apparently on these forums my opinion is unpopular , but I personally think most of the changes Blizzard did in this version of WOTLK are pretty good. I like the delay of RDF, it makes the old world more popular when leveling alts. I have 5 alts, all of them leveled through questing and the old world is FULL of people, and I’m not over exaggerating, its because WOTLK is an alt expansion, it has very little end game and everyone is playing alts. I like the heroic+ , it makes it even more so you can catch up with your alts, and you can quickly gear different classes and play them out. I like the XP boost that they did. I like that they made TOC only doable on heroic or normal as 1 ID. Honestly Blizzard did pretty good job. Yes, I like the token as well. Most of the people playing the game nowadays are people with full time jobs who only raid log(whether it is because they don’t have time, or just because WOTLK is raid log expansion) , and they don’t farm gold, so they buy it. Why would these people not get a legal way to buy 10k gold so they can have gold for consumes for 2 phases ? Also, there are people who don’t pay money to play the game at all. I know couple of people who pay their sub through wow tokens in retail, why shouldn’t they be able to do it in WOTLK if they want to ? You’re very wrong if you think guilds will disband because of this. People are constantly recruiting new players for their guilds (at least on my realm). If you want to play solo - you can go in GDKPs if you wan’t , I don’t care if you bought your gear - I wan’t to play with a community so I play in a guild and get my gear without gold. Never bought gold, never will, token will not change my mind. If I can have 5 alts almost equally geared without buying gold and going into GDKPs, then obviously the game is not p2w, and all of you can. This is MY opinion, you can flame me all you want, but I defend Blizzard on this one, and I think it is a good change. Let’s face it - WOTLK will NEVER EVER be the same as when it was released, you can NEVER get your old experience back, so don’t try to chase it - make a new experience in this version of the game.
