Keep in mind that this is nowhere near all thats needed. After you do the stuff Faefu listed you get the Detective title which you need to equip to start the actual questline.
As of now, the questline hasnt been solved completely.
Edit: you can get the Inert Peculiar key without having the detective title.
Additionally, the Secret Finders have now also released a guide on their website, it is very good and clear.
As i just edited my post, you can go get the Inert Peculiar key right away, it doesnt require the title. That will save you a little bit of work and confusion at least.
I mean, the dev that designed this is literally in the discord made for finding stuff like this.
Sure blues shouldnt release a guide, but saying its there wouldnt hurt.
I think only getting the Title part will be off. I think the rest will stay for longer. Still I think with how it’s going we will have full guide before Christmas, so there will be plenty of time for anyone how checks wowhead or mmo-champion to do it.
Lastly I think people need to learn not stress too much about fomo. If you miss out then you miss out, it’s not a big deal.
It would be a lot of work if you were the one trying to figure it out.
Luckily we have the secret finding discord doing all the hard work for us.
So we just have to (try to solve the hints ourselves and then) follow the guide we have because it’s to difficult.
Same I do go in blind. But when it was for instance talking about the ring of mushrooms rotting I went to zangarmarsh the dry part.

We’ve been ‘threemanning’ them, it’s surprising how much further you get when you can discuss it and get out of your own head. That said, we’ve been standing around looking like complete idiots in the wrong place a number of times, and I’ve needed wowhead a few times to save us lol. Consensus in those cases was that we’d never have figured it out.
