Started this today and was surprised how quickly it goes though. My 2pm I had completed all achievements and got to complete 3 rd stage of Ratts Revenge.
Now just waiting for them to find the Golden Muffin for stage 4.
If you using Elvui it blocks it for some reason. Disable Elvui and you will be able to interact with the machines. Also note that now all 9 Pieces of Hate have been found and you will require to have a minimum of 5 lucky charms for the 8th piece.
Incidentally I had 8 charms collected over the expansions and my sequence for the 8th one was 8 x 7’s. So if you not having luck with getting the 8th piece try entering the number of sevens that correspond to your charms.
4 and 5 o’clock are now solved as well, and so is 7.
It took me a lot of try, and then I gave up and bought all I could find:
Lucky shirt and others from the SW vendor + lucky horseshoe in Ohn’ara plains and the Lucky Tortolan Charm to the troll.

Not the biggest fan of the pet battle part but Oh well, it is what it is.
Why do they shove in pet battles where they don’t belong. Please tell me if it’s at least one of the trivial ones.

I like pet battles, but the fact that you need secretpets is absolute bs…
So much complaining…unbelievable.
- The pets are not even hard to get outside needing an Evoker on level 70.
- The fight has been documented with a relatively fool proof strategy.
- Even getting the tokens to level up and upgrade the pet is 9 world quests max.
Like, it takes less effort to get these pets and max them out than it is to do your weeklies…
And if you really don’t want to do the pet-battle?
Get a friend who has them and party-up with them.
You get credit that way as well.
Doesnt work atm and hasnt been fixed. The dev that made this said he is going to look into that though, so for those that are waiting it will probably work.
I think the reason people are complaining about that is that they are now behind. They like keeping up with the puzzles and trying to figure stuff out by themselves, and if you have never done anything pet battle related this is going to set you back a bit.
I think that is a valid complaint, but the “well guess i give up on this stupid puzzle” crowd should indeed shut up and just move on.
For me Spyragos is the hardest, i seem to be missing something to get the first item of the quest that gives it and i havent yet figured out how to get that.
So, it’s basically not doable for anyone who can’t play daily or 10 hrs each weekend.
This anniversary secret crap is making me aggressive on a level I have not experienced in 18 years of WoW. Of all events, Blizzard chose the anniversary to exclude players from content and items. I mean, no normal person has the time to “investigate” useless stuff for hours each day (or let’s be honest, to travel around the entire game world for the most part, because that’s apparently what it is). Make this secret kind of stuff what it is - pointless side crap that no one needs to do, instead of gating 20th anniversary stuff behind it.

Only thing thats locked to the anniversary event is the achievement for the Detective title, and that one you can get done (from scratch) in like 1,5 hours by now. The felcycle will stay after the event ends.
Oh come on, not pet battles…

All you need from the anniversary event is the “detective” title, which is one hour of work tops. The rest of the Secrets is completely detached from the anniversary event.
