A win is already a rare sight as alliance in AB (ty OP racials and shamans), but controlling 5 bases seems very hard for the alliance… thoughts?

That genuinely does seem like a skill issue.
Thought? You were supposed to get exalted by trading woods from STV event. This is how Aggrend & Co see what kind of pvp should be rewarded (aka = not in BG). As a bonus, you get pvp ranks and honor as well if you wish.
One might say i am salty, but STV + absence of balacing killed SoD pvp imo. And that is beyond repair at that point.

Youre right its hard. Perhaps if you went as 15man premade it would be more doable.
Its like people don’t want to play the game, they want to find a work around until they win all the time or get items/rep etc spending the least amount of time doing an activity…
Grab some buddies, get into a BG and don’t just brain dead zerg - honestly in most random BGS a little tiny bit of coordination/communication can win a BG. Most people jump into BGs completed defeated
- “why do alliance/horde suck”
- “Haven’t won a BG today”
- “Omg we only have 1 healer”
- “Why is everyone going BS” (without saying a word until BG has started"
