Hey so it has been a while since I have Role Played here on Argent Dawn, around 3-4 years I think.
Was just generaly wondering if someone could give me a status on the health of RP on both the Horde and Alliance these days. Is there still a lot going on?
I can’t say much about Alliance, except for Stormwind and Duskwood still being very popular.
But Horde is practically only guild RP now, as hub RP has pretty much vanished due to both the mess that was the end of BfA, Shadowlands and some other things that I’d rather not bring up. (A certain group of individuals…)
So yeah! As much as I love Horde, there just isn’t much (if any) RP outside of established guilds. If guild RP doesn’t interest you, you should probably go Alliance.
Speaking of, there’s a guild recruitment faire in the Crossroads today for Horde side, if you’re interested in that.
Alliance aside from cities (Stormwind, Stromgarde) and Duskwood is generally very heavily guild-based, and the cities come with the problems cities have always had for RP, that being that the quality and immersion will vary greatly minute by minute.
If you are looking for more consistent RP at a higher quality then the advice I would give is still to seek out a guild on Alliance even with a slightly larger RP population than Horde.

Maybe I’ll check out the Crossroads or try my luck on the Alliance. Cheers!
