Getting backstage

I don’t know if it’s its a bug or if I’m doing something wrong but I can’t get backstage in this quest it won’t let me past the stage security.
I have no trick powder left and the mobs don’t drop it now from previous quest and there’s no extra action button appearing like I’ve seen in tutorial vids?
Any help appreciated thank you
