Ermmm but crafting helps you target some looy as well… doesn’t it?
PvPers want to get everything by just playing PvP… Raiders want to gear up easier… M+ spammers want the effects of the Raid drops, outdoor content casuals want to gear up at the level of +19 and/or Heroic Raiding…
If Blizz listens to all of you, we will end up with 5-6 different unrelated games in the same game…
We already have split RP, PvE and PvP communities. Don’t make it worse please… Because of that split, hybrid content with both PvP and PvE is impossible to implement and the RP community is getting neglected the most because they have the least size out of the three…
Because it would drastically reduce player retention if players would have the choice to pick their loot. It’s all a problem of the business orientation of Blizzard.
Yes, but generally BiS items don’t come from crafting, such as trinkets and weapons. Crafted rings can close to BiS due to being able to choose the stats and coming with a free socket, but better rings can still be found in raids and dungeons if you can get a socket in them, or roll a tertiary like leech of avoidance on them.
There are some exception for some specs where Lariat is BiS, but in general for crafting, people tend to just put their embellishments on items with low stat budgets like cloaks and wrist, and grind their remaining items from dungeons and raid. Trinkets and weapons in particularly can take ages to farm.
