Im just wondering why people pay to get boosted, i mean what does it achieve , yes you get rating and gear but surely your not enjoying the game . I dont get it
They also get a mount they can later on brag with.
rakar its your turn
I must be stucked in your head
You’ll always have people cheating as soon as either PvP and/or leaderboards are included. Lots of people even cheat in aim trainers which are meant to be used to train your fps skills…
Dear patient, help the group understand you better.
Thats a wierd question tbh. If you look it through a real life lens. Just one example, people buy their diplomas when they can’t get them due to what ever reason. They still use them , they still enjoy them and benefits they give.
Does the employee that got the raise because he sucked up to the boss feel bad? In most cases no. Plus most wow players are in their mid to 20s to early or even late 30s. Imagine having to grind glad every season because you want it, but not having time. They just trade 1 curreny for another.
I my self have never boosted since i still have the time to grind my goals, but later on if i stil play this and want it but i dont have the time i can see myself doing it to. Looking it through only one possible outcome " but surely your not enjoiying the game" is incredibly subjective. Not that you don’t have a point but it can always be argued otherwise.
There are even cheaters in Team Fortress 2 Mann vs Machine PvE-mode.
and even worse, when people reallize that this Game have Zero dev/Gm moderation like Classic Version of Wow
u have there Multiple Bots with Flyhacks, and People using Rotation cc Bots for Months/years without getting Banned only downside of these Bots are, that it is really expensive 60 euro per Month, but they can Carry you to R1
a friend of mine have 3 r1 classic titles on his rogue because of it, and in Mop he will using a Monk Bot, because the bot Dev was a WW monk back in Mop
this world is crazy
in csgo u also have some Lobbys/game modes without dev moderation, if you Join these lobbys u will instantly see what a sh…show it is XD
Classic servers are a waste of time (sadly)
Boosting doesnt affect u in any case anyway u didnt even play s2.
2. Ask russian players for boosting in blitz like our ret guy here whos hardstuck 2k in real game mode.
I think its pretty simple, if you buy someones help on achieving some skill based goal then its not your achievement no matter what you tell yourself. Same with people who say that they could been anything if they just cared. Not all can be anything they want and if they buy someone else to do it then they still are not it. I think its simple concept of either getting it yourself or not at all. But of course there is ppl who cheat or dont care in general but thats a different topic. Theres ppl that wintrade bgb in groups aswell and just make complete joke of the rated system, do you think they really deserve their ranks for cheating the system aswell. Ironically some of them even make money from ppl buying meaningless ranks. With your logic we could next justify botting with “I could have this without cheats too but (whatever reason here)”
To be honest, I’m much more enjoying single player and coop games recently than online games for these reasons. It’s far more enjoyable than dealing with all this BS.
Sadly I cant get too much in single players as much as mmos, I would rather just jump on any next mmo with pvp that remotely peaks my interest over this what wow has become. Building a new pc in a month aswell which will not gain any advantage from wows engine and Im not suspecting to see any change on the various constant stutters I see in wow since dragonflight so theres also that. The game runs pretty bad and pvp is as neglected now as it has ever been and the state of pvp in general is just horrible.
BG3 and Elden Ring are real masterpieces imo and there’s quite a lot of good niche games out there as well.
Regarding MMOs there’s sadly nothing that looks interesting, played quite a lot ESO and that game is much worse than WoW lol. I dunno, it feels like the US can’t make fun games anymore and European companies aren’t interested in creating MMOs.
Rip riot mmo
Well I’m not very optimistic considering that pretty much none of the games which I’ve really enjoyed for the past 2-3 years was from the US What we’d need would be a MMO from a company that puts as much effort and love into it like Larian did with BG3 - I’m very skeptical that this is compatible with the work culture in the US.
Imagine if they just ditched the whole concept of awc and put all the money going to it on fixing all issues on retail pvp or improving the designs of rated system in general, now that would be great
Its a very good experience.
You play with people who make little to no mistakes. This alone makes you play 10x better. Its like peer pressure to not be a screw up.
You get a first-person view and first-hand experience of how an optimal team would play, and how your role should be in a “perfect” team.
You have to be good as well. They dont actually 2v3 for you. (the time it takes to complete the objective can be a good indicator on how good you are)
I recommend it once. not more than that. Because its nothing much more than just an experience at the end of the day.
Actually two r1 can make anyone glad even if they were lifer 1.6 with negative wins. They can simply take the guy on carry by having higher mmr than him and boost his rating towards 2.4 at first like were witnessed for so many guys in shadowlands and even for some streamers today when they suddenly were playing with two r1 while having 1.7mmr and the boosters having 2.7mmr example and then the 1.7mmr guy became glad for season magically as a new player for retail and then continued from there playing with other people with glad and the like etc, only benefit were that they escaped the pool of lower exp players but they achieved nothing themselves, they just bought an boost for glad which I guess could benefit their streaming careers to a degree but whatever, 15 viewers a day is still nothing and wont even payback whatever the amount that went for buying those glads. Would be more worth just going flip hamburgers on a grill than buying boosts to try become streamer with the bought achievements Imo but I guess they had to try it out first to know.
Its achievements that are supposed to be gained by players own merrits though, if its bought its not gained by them and well Imo pointless.
wow pvp rankings are not an achievement
wow is a very unbalanced pvp game
like most things in life, its more of a grind it out thing than actual “skill”
keep queueing and maintaining that 50/50 win-loss until you edge out few consecutive favourable machups and finally achieve goal
