Is this just a problem for me or is it a known issue? Yesterday I ported to darkshore from boralus, but got disconnected. couldn’t log in because i got disconnected again. tried again and wound up falling in infinite space. then i was in hte graveyard in felwood.
I have just now got disconneced when trying to port to darkshore. Logged back in to find myself halfway through the floor before getting disconnected immediately. tried again, most of the way through the floor, disconnected, tried again, underneath the floor, disconnected.
Having the same problem, checked my connection to the Internet and its perfekt but when i try and check my connection to Blizzard some Telia hub is timing out.
It might be worth trying to clear out your temporary game files here as this is not something of a known issue. It wouldnt be connection based either as if it were, you wouldnt be able to connect reliably to the game at all.
Try following all the steps at the guide here and then give it a go. It should clear up the constant disconnects in the zone but if not then of course do let us know.
but why do you always ask us to destroy our setup and get rid of all addons? that is really never a viable solution because it is surely impossible for an addon or my personal setup to alter the characters position in the game world. and that would cause problems elsewhere.
This issue is a case of my character being put into the floor when I teleport and it only happens in darkshore battlefront. this other person has the same issue too, and our setup can’t possibly be identical.
It’s more of a side effect to clearing out the game files. Yes addons can cause some issues but in this case its more the game files that need refreshing and as they can be found in the same folders, you can’t do one without the other.
I should have been clearer about this in my previous response however in this case, it is not your addons causing the issue, rather a game file. Of course if the above solution does not fix it for you, please reach out to our support team with a ingame ticket.
There are clearly a number of people having this issue. and tech support keeps parroting the same things back to us, “update your drivers, delete your interface, etc”
What is it going to take for support to acknowledge that there is an actual issue in the game, and it’s not the fault of our computer setup?
