So yesterday I was in a fairly good mood. It was time to open a chest! Get some sweet loot! Truly a highlight of the week, right? So I right-click it, watch the loot window pop up, and…

8 War Resources and a Witch’s Ritual Chalk that vendors for 18 gold and 70 silver… Are you kidding me?

You put in all that effort, look forward to opening a chest and RNG decides to give you utter rubbish.

Today wasn’t much better. Once again I felt gleeful anticipation at opening a chest, this time in Drustvar. Pop it open and what do I get? A Tortollan Pilgrimage Scroll, 10 War Resources and a Ship-in-a-Bottle worth 18 gold, 75 silver and 90 copper.

Fix the terrible RNG on the chests Blizzard, no one enjoys this :rage:

I’ve found a solution to this rng.

Just don’t bother. No chest, no disappointment.

Alright, solution might be a stretch but it stops me swearing in guild chat.

I consider stop opening m+ chests.

Its downlight of the week.

For 7th time i got downgrade trinket on my main. So i tought my dk alt who i got my friends to carry to a +15 for the sake of gearing up and get some sweet 475 item, well i got gloves with critical strike corruption, the ONE item i already had at 475 with rank 3 TD.

A grey Gral-Adorned Astrolabe worth 18 gold, 24 silver and 32 copper and 17 War Resources. Not even Zuldazar’s pleasant ambience and light rainshower can detract from the frustrating disappointment.

Should never view the chest as upgrades. Just view it as some free stuff. If its bad, whi cares it was random free stuff, if its good sicl i got something good for free. Makes the chest much better.

Legends of runterra had the same issue with weekly chest. Most viewed it as a free legendary. But im reality its just a bunch of free rares and shards

I don’t bother farming anything. Shadowlands is giving me back PvP vendors so im just killing time until then so I can finally just pvp without all this bullsht

Why on earth aren’t they adding the chest adjustment they promised with Shadowlands, into the game now? It’s going to keep some subs ticking over during the wait. Is there an actual reason or is this just another case of Blizzard being absolutely clueless?

Just remove it alltogether. Its just frustrating in its current form. With the possibility to target loot with it it gets to strong.

I’m sad because I was expecting the weekly “m+ chest bad” post, as is tradition on the forums.

But those world chests need a targetted loot system in Shadowlands too!
