Getting in contact with developers

Hi there,

Im curious if there is a way to get into contact with developers directly or via you(the customer support)

Thanks

You can tweet to @WarcraftDevs but otherwise you will not get personal contact details in any form.

If this is about the population status, this isn’t handled by CS and any feedback will need to be posted in the existing realm community threads which will be gathered for the relevant people for decisions.

Thanks mate. Its about the fact that ,according to the GM I spoke to, the Devs decided to open up character creation on Firemaw EU Classic but not transfers, hence me wanting to speak to the Devs. Ill try twitter, cheers.

I thought twitter was only the US devs? I would say make a suggestion ingame.

The devs are in the US. There are no devs in EU …
Not quite sure of your point?

I thought a small number of people in the EU decided what needed doing about things like population and locked realms and told the US side what to do.

But if what you say is true it kind of explains so much about the state of play in the EU.

In game I got the answer to go to the forums as thats where I can speak with the Devs…

For reference what OP’s GM reply is:

This part quoted (sic):

I do reocmmend to post on the forums any additional feedback about this update so they can gather that feedback from our fans.

Nowhere did it state however that he will get to talk to the devs on the (CS) forums, misassumption on the OP’s side.

The devs never, ever come here.

Ah, ok. I see what you mean. It used to be a thing where the information was gathered by the Community team and passed on to people in the US. I don’t know what happens now, as we don’t have a Community Manager that I know of since Aerythlea.

I think our current is Kaivax?

Edit: What was meant is the EU CM - we don’t have one atm.

He’s a US community manager and passes on the important messages since Versailles closed.

Wow. It seems its a generated automated answer as I got the exact same answer even with the same typo in recommend…

I don’t think the EU Community people spend much time on the forums anymore.

Mostly seen by the time it takes to moderate the forums and the lack of posts, even in the CS forums. I mean, some posts have been here for many days and really need to be removed.

They probably got tired of the toxicity in the forums these days, I know I did.

Then they shouldnt pick a job where they deal with customers…

I am writing to the customer support for a 3 days and they give such a useless robot answers ,i would like to speak with some competent developer or some support ,cuz i am going to cancel my play time .I can’t receive my weekly sparks and rewards from pvp /pve and I can’t crafting my gear ,customer support just don’t give a damn about my problem and they are writing completely nonsenses

Blizzard developers are not in direct communication with players. Except during special events during Blizcon. You can not email them, call them, write to them, and they will not reach out to you either. Also to be fair to Blizzard, this is the same as ANY company, really.

Also, you would be better advised creating your own thread, than bumping a 1yr old one, as the Community Managers don’t pay attention to old threads.

Do not bump old threads. Thank you.
