Getting invited into a raid is hard

A couple of days ago i had an interesting experience in LFG. I was looking to do the normal version of SFO. It took me about 1 hour to finally get into a group that would take me. I saw a lot of people having insane requirements. Higher item level then what the raid drops, 1 fail = kick. Logs ???. 4/4 sets, etc…I got declined by some guy that had some of those ridiculous requirements and after that someone finally invited me to do Anduin and forward. We wiped a couple of times and managed to reach jailer. Raid fell apart there.

But when i looked at LFG the same guy, who declined me was still looking for people on Anduin. I asked him what attempt they are on, he said that they are still looking for good people, because Anduin is a pub stomber… It was a really weird experience. People would literally spent hours trying to form a good team, rather than just playing the game and see what happens.

I mean i get that SFO is a difficult raid, it feels like it’s harder than SOD Heroic, but why do people have such ridiculous requirements for joining ? Same goes for M+. Why do i need to be above the item level drop to actually get invited, its very stupid.

I see some people say on similar threads say “join a guild” which is also quite hard as well. Most guilds for HC have a lot of requirement as well and there are never enough people online to actually do the raid. IDK…I don’t really understand it. It seems counterintuitive design.

A lot of people also invite low geared people, wait 30minutes for people with gear to join the raid and then kick the low geared ones. It happens quite often. There really should be something to prevent the aforementioned things from happening. Would it make the game worse ? I don’t think so.

People want to clear the raid as quickly as possible with as little effort or risk of failure, same thing in M+, and you can’t force people to play with you or take you to their pug raids. Joining a guild if you have the time to invest is a much better way of doing it, in my opinion the only way that raiding is worth even taking part in is if you’re in a steady and stable guild.

Guilds are always recruiting, unless you’re trying to join some high end guild people are generally pretty flexible with standards and requirements if you can show up at a predetermined time and you make some effort.

Personally I dont have the time to commit to a raiding guild so I won’t be raiding this tier at all, there is literally no point in wasting your time trying to pug to get loot that is soon worthless, if you want to raid then find a guild.

People asking mythic jailer for normal mode runs.

Nothing news here.

These people just want to be carried. Ignore them and move on.

Avoid these groups. Look for groups they invite immediately without looking and requesting anything. I only look for these groups, because I just don’t like to boost people, with absurd requests like you too. So in the future, look for quiet, random-inviting groups, which are the ones where you play all the raid bosses.

and also ppl after is wipe they istant leave and look for another group
