Having leveled a insane amount of characters via dungeons, I have never bein kicked without a reason, and usually if I am kicked its because I simply refused to continue with a someone bein afk and vocally said it.
You simply do not get kicked for no reason.

I think you can consider yourself lucky. My priest got kicked out of a dungeon during WOTLK timewalking, because at the trashpacks before Ymiron I did not heal the newbie tank out during chain fear.
Decided to go for normal dungeons instead. Had no issues there.

No, if someone is afk I’d rather replace them with someone who isn’t afk. If people are going to be afk then they shouldn’t be joining any group content at all…
Never seen this happen ever.
What is insane is that you’d be adding more problems.
Because they’re not contributing to an instanced group activity that they willingly entered into, no one wants to carry anyone like this at any level of the game.

Yea the game used to work like that and most of the times dungeons devolved into a real crap show.
