Getting to Korthia/Zereth Mortis

Edit: IF YOU’RE STUCK: You should get prompted to start the fate storyline still when you enter the Shadowlands, if not seek out Fatescribe Roh Tahl in Oribos and choose the FATE option. From that point, you can speak to Tal-Inara to skip the storylines.

For some reason my level 62 mage is half way through the storyline and cannot speak to the Fatescribe to change back to the FATE option and can’t use Chromie time even though Blizzard says this is possible here https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/277506
I’ll get to 70 first and check it out

Help me out here, it’s hard to find any solid answer. I’ve done the Shadowlands story in its entirety and got covenants on several alts.

Blizzard removed Threads of Fate quest, I get that. Does that mean we have to complete the whole Shadowlands storyline on alts to get access to Korthia/The Maw/Zereth Mortis?

This is insane. We can skip so much other content that was more enjoyable but we are being forced to run Shadowlands, probably the worst story, on every alt?

Please tell me there is a skip for this, what are you doing Blizzard? If I was new to the game I’d probably throw up then quit the game if I was forced into Shadowlands, so why the hell would a returning player want to do it again?

i dont think i ever will get to zereth mortis due to the same reasons.
I stopped playing that terrible expansion and i cba to return there without flying and having to go to the maw and thorghast again

I think I kinda regret unlocking flying in Zereth Mortis, since I don´t like Sepulcher tmogs from all class set

If you’ve done it before you can skip the leveling campaign once you’re level 60. The NPC is on the opposite side of Oribos from the portals.

Something like Completing chapter 2 from covenant campaign, then begins the quests to unlock entrace to Korthia, and then unlocks quests to Zereth Mortis when you completed third chapter from Chains of Domination and then unlocks the questlines to Zereth

So does this mean completing the whole storyline through SL? I’m on the Bastion questline right now and I hit chapter 3/9 before that gut wrenching feeling realizing I have to complete 9/9 everything before unlocking the covenant campaign, also thanks for the response!

No, I just skipped last 5 chapters from Chains of Domination Campaign

something is that you can skip last 7 chapters from Covenant Campaign and gets the quests in Oribos

When 9.0 was current, I have done with 5 or 10 alts 9/9 chapters, but any of them with 2/9 had access the questline from Bolvar in Oribos

Huh strange, I appreciate the help dude. For some reason on some of my alts I get sent to fate and others I have no choice, even though neither of them have been to SL before. I’ll check out chromie time or something. Appreciate the help!
