Just came back to wow. First thing I see is a super cool ghost cat form. “How do I get that?” I ask myself. I look on the internet and I see that it’s unobtainable and I see a million posts by people asking Blizzard to bring it back. So yeah, I know there’s a million posts about this, but we should continue to make a million more until it is corrected.
Blizzard, bring the Ghost of the Pridemother back!
Due to Legion artifacts no longer being active, among other things, Mage tower is harder today than it was back then. It does not diminish anyone’s accomplishment to let other people do it as well.
This is not a small insignificant item transmog. It’s what feral druids look at 95 % of the time. It’s a MASSIVE deal, and you’ve made the best skins by a large margin unavailable to most players.
The new mage tower rewards are NOT a sufficient substitute AT ALL.
People with the skins have had 4 years’ worth of bragging rights. That must be enough.
Either you are accommodating the wishes of a little group of petty players at the expense of the vast majority, or you are deliberately trying to create FOMO to pressure people to always stay subscribed lest they miss out on something important that will then never be available again.
Btw. bring back MoP and WoD challenge modes and original rewards too. That was the best wow content I ever played, and as long as you make it the same difficulty as back then, I would be thrilled to see other people get the opportunity to experience that as well … not bitter that other people can now get my Mistwalker title too.
A million posts? Mind listing them all? Even the first couple of hundred would be fine.
The feral one was never difficult even in Legion. So people who did it tell me. I wasn’t playing druid back then, so I didn’t do it. (Didn’t do it even on the characters I was playing, in fact.)
Now that I main feral druid, I REALLY want that MT form. I want it so much…
But no, they should absolutely not make it available again. That would be a slap in the face to all the people who put in the effort to get it before the time limit was up, knowing it would be their only chance.
What I think they should do is make something new available from the MT (new colours for the owlcat form, for example). Also something new for balance, which needs alternative forms far more than feral and guardian do. Maybe something for resto as well, since the other druid specs have forms. That would be fair to everyone. (It still wouldn’t stop the complaining, but never will ever do that.)
What they should do is add many many many more appearance options to our forms (unlockable from achievements and standard) since basically every piece of transmog we collect is a waste.
An alternative is a glyph similar to what moonkins have which allows bears and cats to stay in their form while being “human”.
This would of course require a very clear spell effect to indicate what form you are in, and for sure, people like Tyssera are going to complain it ruins class fantasy
Removing Elite PVP Sets with their Unique Colors but leaving the PVE Version is is also a slap in the Face
If you reach the Rating you should be able to get all the old Sets. Getting the Rating can be harder or easier depending on the Expac i assume. But getting that Rating still takes a lot of Effort for most Players
I have the form already but agree it should be brought back to be earned and no its not a slap in the face at all, its about time they ended this fomo nonsense which punishes people who come to the game late. Its pixels ffs so why make it unobtainable. At the end of the day in legion the mage tower was easy to cheese by the end of the expansion so was no longer a hard encounter for most classes/specs. I have yet to do the guardian mage tower and am a bit gutted myself that I missed out on the white bear form.
They should definitely bring these back. It’s been annoying the crap outta me for 4 years. Just makes playing a druid (and demon hunter) unappealing, knowing that you can never look as “cool” as the other people running around.
If you for some juvenile reason insist this is good game design, at least add a few other colour variations with a similar sparkly cat vibe.
