Honestly, ghouls climbing from the floor and pouring from the sewer entrances at completely random intervals would really define this expansion in people’s minds. Imagine guards actually roleplaying being on edge constantly. I love it.

Is there an RP centered ghoul thingy I could join? I’d like to RP as a slavering ghoul roaming the lands for a bit.
I don’t know - details on the event have been so mixed people can’t organise. Last time this happened I helped organise SW’s defence on my paladin with a bunch of other RP guilds. Unsure if even that’s happening this time.
Give it until the evening when more people log on and we will likely see some attempts at organizing all this. It doesn’t help Stormwind’s phased though
I am finding it quite enjoyable, both the IC aspect and the OOC salt that’s being thrown around by everyone for trivial reasons.
Also, I have so many songs prepped for zombie related things!

Very cool and very nice of them to finally admit that it isn’t fun to be griefed on the expanses of others.

And you really think this wont just make them retaliate harder? Not to mention the majority of players who has never done anything and will start disliking roleplayers. Im not sure retaliation is the way to go, its just giving in saying that you are no better than them and that it really does ruin your day when they park on you, thus feeding the troll.

The glorious thing is, the player controlled ghouls don’t show names. So nobody can tell if it is OOCers or RPers doing it.
I believe it isn’t live for EU yet. I am not sure though.

I killed a bunch last night but apparently they’ve been around for a week.

Run that as you fly over the harbour (typically around the stairs from the harbour front to the level above - they have a Seagull fascination). I also spotted one down the south/west ramp in Valley of Heroes.
The player ones are around now, so I can see people with the plague etc
