Goldshire was completely decimated earlier today, loved it. Stormwind’s a lost cause as well, but it makes sense - I doubt a lot of people would ICly be out on the streets having a nice void elf citizen conversation in the midst of an apparent apocalypse? Anarchy would ensue in a lot of areas and I doubt the guard could hold down every part of the city with impunity, especially after the Blood War claimed so many. Just imagine it as a shortage of manpower in the onslaught against a foe that raises your fallen comrades back up against you, and doesn’t tire. Undeath’s unfair.

What I hope to see is a lot more people out on the open road, making for some spontaneous roleplay as they scramble to evacuate civilians or save their own hides by venturing off the path.

SW is pretty under control. Most of the outbreaks don’t get to take hold for long.

Goldshire can be abandoned.

For people that wants to avoid be attacked by ghouls but need to get too specific destination away from stormwind or ogrimmar ( in case it gets chaotic ), use boats / zeppelins - and be on top on them - or ask a mage for portals . and if possible can, get few invisible potions with you just incase.

Stormwind is basically lost in my shard, this is fab. Forgot how much fun I had back in the Wrath pre-patch.

To the point, even despite the sharding I have encountered many RPers during this evening when I grouped up with my friends and we together RPd out the entire Ghoul invasion. It was a blast and I can only recommend other people to get involved and not squat in Dalaran.

It was fun last night, some twenty or so people had more or less barricaded/blocked the entrance to the cathedral and were protecting those seeking safety inside. No guild groups, just random strangers who grouped together to help the weak and the infirm. And it WAS a blast.

I would particularly like to thank all the ghouls that did NOT ran past us like we weren’t there and actually fought it out against us at the steps of the cathedral.

I actually tried to get infected and stealth into the Cathedral crypts. Wanted to make it seem those buried there were rising as ghouls too, but I never got very far!
Was fun though!
