i found 2 ghouls fighting guards in valley of wisdom, got the quest A hunger for flesh, turned in with no follow up and got 23g 40s

Our week 2 isn’t live yet as far as I’m aware. Just NA have it.
Have they? I guess most people have missed them since we’ve all been hitting loot piñatas fighting the returned champions of the Scourge in Icecrown. They also seem to die to a stiff breeze at the moment too.

Well, the proper ghouls should kick in tomorrow, right?
Today seems to be still random non-infectious ghouls. Also, initial reports from the US forums seem promising. It’s not Warmode only, and while ghouls have been nerfed from ‘Literally one can cause an apocalypse to all zones’, plenty of people are complaining madly, so they can’t be completely irrelevant either.

Yep, same.
Got to admit, was kinda hoping for more. Also what the hell is with the Ghoul HP, they only have 4k and they don’t infect you either.
These ghouls have been around all week, though they seem more numerous now.
They’re just the precursor to the actual ghoul invasion, which will start tomorrow.

It’s too early, maybe tomorrow to match NA getting it early. That quest has been up all week from killing a regular zombie

If you want to see the chaos the zombies are causing on NA go visit their forums. It seems everyone is currently being PvP flagged the moment they go to certain cities.

The stupid part is people flag those posts so they get hidden…
Alot of people I know (myself included, am not interested int his event and I am turning WM off sololy because of that). I joined WM just for the bonuses and that is. Bacck to origginally PVE server status I go.
I have no idea what people are getting so upset about. It’s a week long event.

If it interferes with my ability to do the questline, e.g. you can’t go speak to the quest giver because there’s 5mil zombie players waiting to eat you, then I’m not playing it.
If I can avoid it by just not going to the city, that’s fine.
Have you not done the opening quests already? Even if you haven’t, there’s nothing stopping from you from just floating close enough to get the quests. The ghouls have no hard CC.
honestly this is the way this event is supposed to be. its an undead invasion, if you dont like it you need to work together with people to kill the ghouls.
If you dont people who become ghouls get free reign

Yes but I can’t remember if the second set of quests that are upcoming involve going to a major city. If they quests are confined to Icecrown, that’s fine, I’m a happy bunny. Go ham.
