It’s a shame what they did to Giantstalker it was a great realm until they offered free transfers off for no reason.

The same happened to HWL earlier. Blizzard seems to view the game only from mega-realm-players point of view. Anything smaller than 5000 players has to be closed. Very sad.
But if they allow it and keep our Hydraxian alive, we would gladly welcome all Giantstalkers and Nethergardians to join our cozy realm.

Definitely. Just - those players on NK and Giantstalkers would need to let their people know through their respective discords.

I don’t think devs will read this thread. Better gather as many players as you can to use the in-game suggestion feature.

Well… maybe they do, maybe they don’t. If we don’t give anyone anything to read, we can be sure it won’t be read. 
Furthermore, for those of us who are active here it just might be a nice bump in morale to see whether anyone IS interested at all…

OK What realm did HWL players choose to go?
Logged in on horde side and there were 8 people on.
I’ll be honest I am interested and for whatever reason it does seem like HW isn’t locked like Nethergarde or (sadly) Giantstalker. If not for the fact that apparently there’s not many Horde players left there I’d probably make a character there. If only to keep it alive.
Alliance decided to stay mostly. We still have hope that Hydraxian might survive because it is not locked like the others. Bu tofficial information would be great.

I wanted to reroll my Horde there (didn’t play tbc/wotlk). I love the TRP3 RP vibe and communities, playing on AD all these years.
I logged in today at 7-8pm and there were only 4 druids total, the class I play, which just seems awfully low.
I’m unsure if people have left or not. Just going to wait and see.
If they keep the realm alive, but only Alliance is active, then I might roll my Dwarf Shaman rather than my usual Tauren Druid.
There are still a couple of Horde guilds I’ve seen around, but the Alliance side is definitely more populated! I would say I know where the only Horde guys I knew went to SoD shrug
To be fair HW has been very dead on horde side already for a while. The highest amount of players where around 25 a couple of weeks ago when I checked. But this was a special day I think^^ There are also lots of farmers around obviously.
If you really looking for a guild, Alliance is probably a better option right now. I still hope the server will stay open so I can start my goblin army on HW. Maybe the horde population will increase again and there is a chance for one new cata leveling guild or sth like that. Horde def needs a little bit more love 
And yah by the way…Please keep Hydraxian alive Blizzard!!

I’m rooting for you guys, the closure of the only RP server in the region is a slap in the face of anyone who enjoys RP.
I’m not sure how you can get Blizzards attention, other than maybe getting people to start playing there and creating a surge in the population while the server is still open to character creation.

And now the official info thread about the transfers is gone… At least gone from the news header. Very interesting. A long with the multiple bugs on Cata prepatch, I’d ring the bell of shame very loudly!
