Gifted gametime not working

Hello,

My girlfriend gifted me shadowlands and subscription, i could activate shadowlands instantly with cd key provided via email but when i activated subscription it somehow did not worked out, however when checking account overview it shows that subscription will expire Nov 18, 2020 12:56 PM but it does not show up in bnet launcher, it still says that subscription has expired.
I do not have other accounts, only one.
I did tried to restart bnet multiple times even log out, nothing changed also waited for 8 hours straight and still nothing.

I also created a ticket but guy who replied did not helped me with issue. Is there way to upload screenshots because i have couple to show.

Payment issues are unfortunately not handled through the forum. You’ll have to ask Support again.

What’s important is that if this subscription is for another region or for a new game license it will not be able to be applied to the current region’s game license. Which is intended, you’ll then have to apply for the gifted subscription to be refunded.

So if your game overview looks like this: WoW1 EU/WoW2 (anything else) then the above applies to you.

I probably had to mention this but we were playing before in EU wow1 region and previous gift was working as intended. Unfortunately not this time. Does that mean she have to contact support and not me? Anyway i barely know anything about world of warcraft as i joined in August.

Cheers!

Nah according this article you, the gift receipient will need to contact Blizzard.

You have the gift email and such right? You could file the ticket under this:
https://eu.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow/181/184/solution

There has also been other issues with payment processing and general game content (BFA) at the moment as well.

Thanks for reply but looking at this link i did contact support before i came to forum, as i mentioned above “the guy who responded” didnt helped me with my issue he “said” that “i have successfully claimed gift and i have to be sure to log in into wow1 EU server”. And yet this issue is not resolved because game time is not added to my bnet launcher. (it just shows in account overview, i mentioned that above)
Sigh, this is so complicated i dont even know how else i can describe this problem i have.

You can try resetting your password, it often refreshes account status.

i just changed my password and unfortunately didnt worked out.

So when you look here https://account.blizzard.com/games which one says it expires on the 18th? Take particular notice of the name and region. That’s the one you need to log in with.

Hi there!

Can you use the “log out” option on the launcher and double check that the battle.net email matches the account that you’ve claimed your time on. Especially if you have multiple battle.net accounts

Next, if you ignore the message on the launcher and login to WOW, does the account let you login to your characters anyway?

I did log out, and there is only 1 email i use for blizzard overall and i got both gifts in same email, also i do not have other accounts, never had. When i logged into wow (without gametime) both max level characters were inactive and game told to re-subscribe.

Now that after 7 or so hours i got the gametime on launcher not sure who helped/fixed it. Thank you very much.

Ahh! It may have just been that the account/launcher needed a little time to refresh

But glad that it’s solved now!
