Gilded Harbinger Crest

this shouldn’t be locked out only mythic + and mythic raiding. delves map gives only 3; i need 90.

They were supossed to be reward from tier 13 but It’s Blizzard

Messed up with difficulty`👍
Plenty of bugs~

There is a reason why the Delves currently is only up to 8 lvl …they messed up heavy with rewards system making 9-10-11 pointless .

I did plenty of 11 and the rewards are equal to 8 and i mean gold-crests -items .

Today i barely saw anyone on the entrance of the Delves , i give 2 /3 more weeks and people will not bother anymore .

Well, then you will have to play the content that drops them, otherwise, it is not a need but a want.

And you’ll get them eventually, nothing within delves reward structure (T1-8) is difficult enough to justify rewarding them. I’m surprised they offered them at all frankly.

Putting the crafting price at 90 while simultaneously making them only available to 19 keys (s3 equivalent) is really baffling to me. Should be either or, especially since there’s a cap.

That’s how it’s meant to be.
Progress stops at tier 8.
9 and up is for bragging rights and a cosmetic reward and achievements.

As for OP:

You can get 45 weekly through the vault. That’s something at least.

The high water mark for solo content / casual content ilvl was BfA. In patch 8.3:
455 - Titanforge
460 - Heroic Warfront
470 - 5 Mask Vision

For end-game players:
475 - Top PvP rewards
475 - Max M+ (weekly chest)
475 - 485 Mythic Raid Boss drops

A player who’s only end-game content was Visions could get gear only 15 ilvl below the best Mythic raid gear, and gear from TF and Heroic Warfront would help them get there.

In subsequent expacks the gap was much bigger, in part thanks to the saltiness of elite players QQing about the “loot pinata” of casual / solo content in BfA. A casual / solo player in DF couldn’t get higher than the midpoint of the Champion gear track so was capped at around 25 ilvl behind (until Season 4, where you could trade up crests at 6:1 ratio).

In TWW the Delves put you onto the Heroic track ( 1/6 from Bountiful Chests and 3/6 from vault), which is a big improvement over DF. On the M+ side, only M+ 10 and higher rewards Mythic gear track items (1/6 from vault). Without any Harbinger crests, a Delve-only player can get to within 20 ilvl of max M+ / Mythic raid gear. With lots of Harbinger crests that difference drops. If Delves rewarded significant number of Gilded crests we’d be back in BfA territory, with solo players able to get pretty close to the best Mythic Raid players again. In fact, it would be even closer than BfA, with a gap of only 13 ilvl.

Personally, I don’t see a problem with that… but if it happened you can bet the forum would be flooded by elite players complaining how solo content rewarded gear that was too good.

tl:dr

In BfA casual players could get to wiythin 15 ilvl of best gear in the game and elite players QQed.

In DF casual players could only get within 25 ilvl and QQed.

In TWW, it’s 20 ilvl - splitting the difference - but apparently that hasn’t stopped the QQing.

you don’t get that, those are the runed ones your talking about.

Eh I kinda like that they are in harder content. Grinding 6s was so boring

For gilded delver should get ~ 9 per week + after 6 weeks delver should be able to cap runed (delves are a source of infinite easy to get runed crests) and it will be 24 per week from this moment. Not a tone, but during the season you should be able to craft ~ 6 slots without leaving delves if that is what you desire, which is pretty high, given that delve difficulty is relatively low.
