Gilneas Reclamation. and the 10.2.5 in general

Do we get back a new capital? Or it is just a quest zone?
Do we have more info on what the 10.2.5 means for the season? when this season will be over?

It wouldnt suprise me if they made it a neutral town like they did with the new night elven home

But it would be nice if it was a proper capital yeah. I like the style of the place

Season 4 is due Spring sometime, so from March onwards.

Plus its already made. Might need interiors adding but otherwise

it was made during cataclysm, they probably will have to update the textures on buildings and land

Yes but updating textures is less work then building a whole new city

I’m very curious myself, it’s an amazing city, always regretted that it was just collecting dust. I hope they’ll turn it into a real city, functional for players, instead of just pretty pixels to look at once or twice.

Hope it will bring content (Real content, not quests), pretty zones won’t do much on their own.

For some silly reason I thought season 4 was in the next patch.

so can you help me understand this? So sometime in March we get a new “reset”? So same dungeons with new ilevels? Do we get a new raid?
I came back to the game mid of December and I am currently learning dungeons at m+14 level. I hoped that I could reach m+20 but I feel I will run out of time :frowning:

It’s like Shadowlands with fated raids but this time they apparently giving people who do only open world content stuff as well. That is all I know really, you have plenty of time.

Gilneas reclamation is just barely 30 minuts of gameplay where you reclaim Gilneas and thats it. They will be few workers here and there but thats all for this patch. There wont be any city, quests or anything at all until propably Midnight expansion since that zone have no relevancy for War Within.

There is no content in Gilneas outside of reclamation scenario. Its just setup story for Midnight expansion.

Well crap. Thanks.

This patch is just a :sleeping_bed: then

Except for follower dungeons but that seems a system introduction rather than proper content

Lets hope its atleast good then, like the legion or bfa intro quests. And not just the forsaken being like “well sorry about our leader burning your tree, we will leave gilneas for you”

i can live with that. im just curious to know if bein a worgen is different. since i have 0 gilnean a 70th level.

Doesnt sound too great…I was at least hoping for some basic amenities (Inn, general stores, flightpath).
If nothing else I really wanted a flightpath!

sorry but where is written that will be without anything?

From what I’ve seen in the PTR (though it’s very unfinished there) there’s an innkeeper at the Greymane Court and some vendors in the Trade District. Most NPCs are just called “Unknown” in the PTR so it’s hard to say what exactly will be there.

Lorderon is Forsaken land.
