Warning this post is basically for a laugh and I’m curios at what people think
I know ill get crap for this buuuut. Earthen woman have beards and that always makes me think of Gimli`s quote from LOTR > Gimli: It’s true you don’t see many dwarf women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for dwarf men. Aragorn: [whispering] It’s the beards. Gimli: And this in turn has given rise to the belief that there are no dwarf women, and that dwarves just spring out of holes in the ground! [Eowyn laughs] Gimli: Which is, of course, ridiculous.

I know people will think its stupid but I think it would be funny for pure sh*ts and giggles xD
If I want a toon with a beard I would make a male toon. And there is nothing wrong with that.
In fact. They should roll back on this “women with beards” thing. What they should have done is make the earthen dwarfs genderles. It is by FAR more appropriate lore wise.
Because Earthen are more machine than organism. Its what all their “lore” is about. They even reproduce by downloading themselves to new bodies. And die when their “clockwork” memory gets too big. And eat rocks…
So. There is ZERO reason for them to have genders. They dont need them. They dont copulate. They dont produce children… so it makes sense for them to be some “genderless dwarf”. With a beard.
Cool guys don’t look at explosions… they blow things up and then walk away… whos got time to look at explosions… the more you ignore it the cooler you look
There are so many more options other than F/M when it comes to fantasy toons. Especially “robotic” toons. For example: With mecha tentacles / with out mecha tentacles. Or body 1: Short. Body 2: tall.
Limiting yourself to M/F is actually less options. And more boring than anything. Because M/F is the same concept for all other races. Its not special at all.
