im sad you dont like ele gameplay, i have never had this much fun on ele ever, the fact i can spam spells and not do a hardcast the entire game feels so much better and fun,
I don’t like the way they changed Ascendance and the fact it’s that strong. Random DRE procs can decide the game. In fact I have less damage overall than pre 11.0.5 but I can kill randomly. I don’t feel like I have any influence on the game + playing around 3 min. CD is super lame. If Ele was like pre-11.0.5 I’d probably play.
Overall the biggest yck for me is how Blizzard doesn’t care about tuning and how R Druid (my friend mains it) is terrible. He had to try 3 different healers before he found something he likes. The fact they released 90 euro mount on top and announce new expansions while the game is in shambles is just disgusting. I don’t let them rip me off.
I also unsubbed. I loved holy paladin gameplay after they reworked it in Dragonflight but now it feels super lame. They literally got rid of all the fun by making the rotation even easier and more forgiving.
Denounce used to be meaningful and most of my damage was not some passive aoe rotational explosion damage. I had to actually target the enemy to do damage
Blessing of Summer was more fun because I had to think who would benefit most out of it
I had to manage mana and damage reduction with glimmers and Daybreak to min max my effectiveness. Now the damage reduction is just passive talent for targets with beacon. This change got rid of all the depth in the spell rotation.
Divine favor was non-GCD. (Bear in mind that if some ppl actually thought that it is 1 button too many, they could have macroed it with holy prism/barrier of faith. Now it is on GCD with those abilities because of noobs.)
Flash of Light was meaningful ability to actually heal and save mana.
I liked how holy paladin had some clear benefits and weak points and the rotation was more than just managing my burst cooldowns.
And it is just like the OP said, it is not worth the money or the time investment for me either considering how much effort Bliz puts in pvp.
That’s the problem. People are crying how bad this game is but they still giving Blizz money instead of quitting.
Blizz only starts to care when enough people are unsubbing not when people are crying but still playing.
So to the people that are really unsubbing… good job!
The fact that celestial steed brought them more revenue than Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty says a lot. I bet they will earn more from this mount than from expansion sales.
