Give Ferals some attetion aka Gore Rune sucks

We just have to hope that we are vocal enough. Every feral player I know share the same view for the class that we do. Gore rune has been criticized heavily on bot aspects (Mangle-Lacerate synergy and Shred proc chance). I am sure that even one dev already knows that how feral players feel.

Yeah after the rune screw up I am pretty sure feral is now on their radar, finally… :rofl: I was so sure feral would get something 2 weeks after p3 dropped due to how bad it was, and all we saw was a slight increase in rip :+1:

But as you said, if I see nothing soon I will also drop feral which is sad because I wanted my fix from the wotlk days on the classic server.

Something has to be done soon, as feral for Alliance is so important. And now with the weapon skills on top of the Horde racials being much more dominant the Alliance is going to suffer even further in all PvE and PvP aspects. Not to mention the dominance shamans have had in PvP and PvE in p2.

The more this is spoke about the more at a loss of words I am for how they still haven’t addressed these simple fixes.

I’m the last Feral in my guild. Everyone else has switched to Boomie.

I’m alright as a player - generally parse anywhere between 70 and 90 - so try to carry my weight.

It’s gotten to the point where the raid groups (we usually run 2, sometimes 3) are clawing to get me. I got put in a team last night I hadn’t played with before and I hated it - no synergy, the raid lead was obviously just trying to parse (lol wowlogs locked the raid anyway gg) and I had a miserable time. I shouldn’t be out-DPSing mages.

I’ve flat out told them that if Feral doesn’t get some fundamental changes in p3 I’m not playing it and switching to Boomie or main tank. I’ve stuck with p1. I’ve stuck with p2 and the horrors of STV. I’m just not willing to do it any more.

If Sunken Temple is better for Melee dps, I can foresee a huge shortage of ferals for the exact reason you told. Many people have respecced or rerolled completely because feral is in such a bad spot. I like that I bring a huge buff for my group, but to be there only for that is saddening.

I had a fun idea for a an AOE for the kitty that would be like the Hunter’s Multishot.
Basically the kitty would jump onto the nearest target and do 150% damage and apply 1 Rake’s worth of bleed damage/over time then it would jump onto the next adjacent target within 4 yards for the same damage and bleed and then finally onto the third target. (immune to immobilizing effects during this time)

I feel like this would play into the kitty fantasy of an agile cat. It also helps differentiate the playstyle from others and enhance the idea of kitties being fast and unpredictable. Each target hit adds a combo point and the combo points transfer from target to target. So it could be used as a way to save some combo points on a near death target in group content by swapping to another third target.

Good idea, but that would involve the Dev team having to create something completely new… :rofl:I would be happy with swipe (Cat).

Just leave those druid and play shamans, WoS (World of Shamanism) really cool game build on top of WoW classic , i suggest you all try it

Yeah … i would instantly Main Shaman if they had released Draenei or Dwarfs for Shamans. I cant play Taurens :slight_smile: sry mates

Don’t forget that now you will have to keep an eye for eventual Gore proc…

It is making me laugh seeing all the “Enh Shamans are dead!”, “RIP Ret” etc posts.

Maybe they should reroll Feral to gain some perspective. They might even end up appreciating their own spec more!

So here I come trying to fix runes again.

Gore, the 5% chance should stay however it stacks with every Mangle or Shred you do up to 5 times AND each stack also reduces the energy cost or your next Mangle or Shred by 3 Energy. So you can proc it early or you can proc it later, but it WILL proc unless you’re REALLY unlucky with 25% chance.

Elune’s Fires, the problem with these dots is that the other dots are very easily appliable and easy to upkeep but Rip is not. It requires several ability hits for combo points to make the Rip worth a damn in the first place and to then only get one additional measly tick of damage for 3 times is just pathetically weak. So… Rake resets the timer of Rip to its FULL duration.

I dunno what this fascination with Shred all of the sudden is from the developers but it can only be used when the target is not aggro’d by you meaning group content any other time and it is unusable as we lack stuns or fears in combat so stop trying to push that stupid ability. Rake makes more sense. Bleed for bleed and anyone can use it in any content.

Elune’s Fires is still a crap ability even with this change but I don’t want to make the kitty version of it better than the balance and resto versions.
