As the title says really… I know it’s a fairly minute request but I just would not like to be greeted with all these loud spell effects etc. and would just like to decide what character might look best in x gear without waiting for a yell and dance to finish.

i like it; it shows your stance and movements before you make the character, even shows you some class spell effects
all in all its definitely better now

Of course. It’s engaging and helps connect you to a class, but for those that may or may not have spent too many hours in the character create screen, I just don’t think an option like this could hurt for those that are more familiar with what everything does.

i’ll be honest; when im stuck on the chargen screen in one of those ‘what should i play now’ moments,
it does get a bit annoying hearing the shouts etc

I know there are a few workarounds such as quickly entering character create screen or swapping to another race and then swapping back but, ideally a toggle button could be added.
perhaps just a simple mute button might work, a lot of other MMOs include something like that
Those animations were made to persuade people away from making a gnome warlock, both male and female give you the perviest stare ever.

Give me a break, how often someone sees this screen? After pre-patch you will forget this. Personally i love it.

Options are nice. Wasting development time is not.
The reality is you’re probably one in 10,000 that would disable the animations.

Honestly, every person who likes to level alts would disable the animations.
They get really annoying after few minutes in character selection, even with the sound off
