so pre patch event dropped today… thats about all i can say because it dropped like a lead balloon
not only is the event itself microsoft powerpoint levels of laggy even on the best systems and connections but then theres the lovely “character not found” message when you try and log in the abysmal loading times for your character list to the point of waiting an HOUR staring at a black screen with little bits of wow branding
worse yet blizzard SOMEHOW managed to break things that the new content should have had ZERO interaction with from guilds having no guildmaster because the player lost their rank with this patch, quests you cant complete in legacy content (i myself have a few quests in LEGION areas where using the item doesnt count towards progress, or quests where the complete quest button just does NOTHING)
and we all know blizzard have ZERO intention to fix anything that affects anything not the war within related now so are we supposed to just put up with the rest of the game being a total tyre fire?
and lets face it folks weve seen stuff like the warband bank tab prices and the prices for the vendors during the radiant echoes event the writing is on the wall that the world soul saga is going to be nothing more than a continuous grind fest to drive up engagement metrics while having no respect for players time
and we all know there is only a single way to show any company you wont tollerate their absolute contempt any longer and that is to NOT give them money so PLEASE i implore you as fellow gamers who deserve better for the money we are paying CANCEL YOUR PRE-ORDERS we need to send them a message in the only language they will listen to!
but well played blizzard you got chris metzen back trotted him out like a perfoming monkey at blizzcon to get people to buy your next mess of an expansion you have no right to call yourself “blizzard entertainment” any more you can keep the blizzard part because you certainly act like a terrible storm that sweeps in and wreaks havoc on all it touches
(Chris get out now just publish the world soul saga as a novel because the people working on gameplay will BUTCHER your work)

To be fair we’re paying so much money for below average product. Sadly this community will swallow anything blizzard throws at them :)) If this game wasn’t 20 year old, feeding on nostalgia and people scared to death of fomo, it’d die quicker than any new mmo released in last few years

Or, I now this is radical, some of us actually enjoy the game.
The prepatch event is a shambles atm but that doesn’t mean that I’m going to throw the baby out with the bathwater and stop playing something I enjoy because one event is dire.
I know I will enjoy the expansion, the levelling, exploration, the usual raids, m plus, trying out delves etc.
So by all means quit if the game brings you no joy. I hated Cataclysm. Longest wow break I’ve ever taken.

its about a company selling a sub par product at a premium and expecting those buying it to “enjoy it”
make no mistakes the state the game is in now IS the state the expansion will launch in even with the best staff in the world they simply do not have time now to fix all the things they have broken in the limited time before the launch

Why would you even preorder?
I don’t understand why people would part with their money before they have a reasonable basis on which to make their decision.
Even though I’m very likely to buy it, still no reason to part with my money early.

Especially when that money goes to a company like blizzard. Literally 0 innovations in new expansion. Some solo dungeon they called delve and account wide transmog farming. It’s hilarious.

Then for haven’s sake just leave it? I dont waste money on products which I don’t like in rl and in virtual life as well. Buying a product only to throw a tantrum on how they “hate it” is…circus level comedy at this point.
If they are so “invested in pixels” and can’t let go then let them seek counseling or a specialist’s help.

I am only subbed cos I played m+ for 2 weeks on my vdh and then 2 weeks on my fire mage xdd I have 6 days played in total in DF. You can enjoy medicore product and that’s fine but it’s still a medicore product and people ‘whining’ have valid complaints.

I’ve been playing this game a long time and some of the bugs we’ve seen are child’s play especially how fast they get fixed compared to back in the day. One quest line in Wrath I didn’t even get to do until the expansion was nearly over because the bug didn’t affect everyone and it was hard to identify.
There were parts of Icecrown you couldn’t even complete without a GM forcing your account through. Rightly or wrongly I’m not phased by bugs, I also now that the process isn’t always straight forward, but I won’t go into that here.
If you feel it’s sub bar then by all means cancel, complain, give feedback etc. But I’m going to give constructive feedback about an event I’m not impressed by and I’m going to enjoy the expansion I’ve already bought and tested.
My example of taken a break when I didn’t like the game is no different to you now. I didn’t like it, I didn’t want to pay for it so I stopped playing and took a couple of years out until MoP came along. If you want to take a perma break, that is your choice. But others wont necessarily feel the same.
I will never understand when people play games they hate.

Welcome to the forums or heck. Video gaming in general where people will whine pretty much about everything. Both “valid” and … “not so valid”.
Even in real life if I was forced to work in customer support, I would chose a mechanical shop or something. Karens will be everywhere obviously but you can at least hope that some will come in with common sense. Gamers on the other hand are emotional beasts and rarely if ever somebody uses logic.
No one will enjoy first season in this game

I get hours of enjoyment out of this game and for me it’s worth it and far from mediocre. It’s probably my favourite game. It’s not nostalgia, I hate Classic 
I think it’s something people say when they’ve lost their wow joy and don’t understand how anyone else could enjoy it. There is nothing wrong with out growing a game but my god for how little you seem to play is it worth it? Do you have any fun at all?

If you dont like product X = you don’t buy/use it. Simple as that.
I am just having a laugh at these people who “hate this game so much yet continues to buy it”. Well…its nice forum entertainment I guess.
