I very recently discovered that many reagents I had my characters’ - and my guilds’ -banks very much full of…
now stack to 1000 instead of just 200! I’m not sure when this happened, but I was getting desperate

Don’t forget you can use the Void Storage guy in Legion Dalaran Bank:
You can’t store everything in it but at least the transmog and unobtainable stuff that you have stuffed on your bank at least.
yeah, it’s almost full, I’m a hoarder xD I keep all cool stuff and gear 
But seriously xpacs come and go and we don’t get more bank slots for some reason
I think because you can just create an alt to basically double your bank space, so Blizzard has little reason to increase it even further.
The will be a ton of stuff you can delete now
My banks and bags are only ever half full.
Blizzard should remove the void storage and just add it as tabs + bags to the bank. I personally don’t use the void storage. I find it quite useless. Just combine it with the bank.
what are you even hoarding just make a bank guild like the rest of us 
There will be a reagent bag available in the new DF expansion which will hopefully free up bag space (unless you’ve got it crammed full of non-reagent items!).
It is already available, and the bag itself only have merely 20 reagent slots.
I have my main in a real guild and have all my alts in a ‘bank’ guild. I have unlocked most tabs and use that for excess storage of things like mats and stuff that isn’t bound to my character.
I don’t tend to use void storage as much as it’s very limited what you can dump in there.
The fact that materials stack higher now does help. But it depends what you are hoarding. My bank is always full too with stuff that can’t go on the profession tabs that I can’t put anywhere else.
20 slots but stacks go up to 1k now. So it will hold a lot more than a pre DF reagent bag. Previously they would stack to 200.
You also have to consider that you will now have 1-3 star reagents so it’ll fill up super quickly once you start getting all different kinds.

Despite the bag having a capacity on up to 20 000 singular reagents, this assumes that you only have 20 stacks of reagents which each now stacks to 1000.
For us handling bagfulls of different reagents from different expansions, 20 slots is a low number of slots.
Honestly I expected a reagent bag with at least 50 slots, or perhaps even have as many slots as the bank reagent tab.

I’m not sure why you’d be carrying around reagents from previous expansions, when they can be used straight from the bank.
I would love some more bank space.
But something tells me I should start thinking of clearing out all of these old Halloween wands that I have collected over the years.
(p.s. 34 slot bags in DF, so you get your 2 extra bag slots).
Strange that, when I currently farm legacy raids weekly and somehow loads of legacy reagents ends up in my bags…
I don’t bother distributing the reagents of a legacy expansion from the characters while they still are farming the respective content. That cleaning is done when the respective chars are done with farming the respective expansions.
I would give my virtual pinky for a shared bank tab.
I dump those in the bank too, I don’t carry them around like precious possessions.
I am not overly attached to prof mats that I feel I need to keep them all with me at all times.
So you imply that I am overly attach to the reagents just because I don’t bank them every time they drop.
