Dont be afraid to give better rewards in Delve! You said once, delve is good for those players who dont do M+ and it is perfect. You decided to give us worse loot and no crest, not like M+ you can get so why not? What is the problem? You are the problem, devs who ALWAYS put casual lower who cant do high M+ or cant get crest or better loot in delve. What about this?
The biggest problem i see for delve players is that gilded crests are so hard to come by. If they just made it possible to farm more gilded I’d be happy.
As it stands I’ll cap at 619 in two weeks, then my only way to get gilded is 15 each week from trading in harbinger, and crests from delve maps. I have gotten 30 gilded so far doing delve maps, but that is from doing every single delve each day since release all t8+ since those were available.
Gilded just from trade in would take 30 weeks to cap, which is longer than the season will last. And delve maps are too rare, even with me having run probably 8+ delves per day since release.
Even if t11 just dropped 1 gilded it would go a long way to making me feel like I have some progression left in the game.
As much as I like delves, I don’t agree with further increasing ilv on rewards, unless they bump up the difficulty. Currently it’s not comparable to M+ or raids when you consider difficulty vs rewards. If they give even better stuff from delves, it’s very easy to get into a situation where delves is the superior way to gear your character.
But just bumping up the difficulty across the board isn’t a great solution either. Some specs/classes can easily clear them, while others already struggle. I was just cruising through T8 on my freshly dinged 560 paladin. I doubt rogues or mages could do the same, or at least not claim it was easy.
I do agree that they could give more Runed Harbinger Crests at the higher tiers, but dropping myth track gear from T10 is completely unreasonable with the current difficulty level of delves. M+ is currently capped at Hero 2/6 drops, regardless of keystone level, and you have to do +10 keys to get 1/6 Myth gear in the vault.
The problem is not difficulty. Difficulty can be adjusted and rewards can be assigned in an infinitely scaling system.
The problem is with class and team composition tuning. It is literally not possible. Your performance and game experience will vary wildly based on your own spec and/or the spec of your teammates.
Not even worth discussing further.
Tanks and a few DD specs can complete it with their eyes closed. Some other specs have a hard time and soloing it by a couple of specs is practically impossible.
