was plebbing around on a gearless alt and some 1500 mofo hit my warrior for 250k glacial, surely it can be turned into a real build by a good mage?

well glacial dmg is fine because it cannot be spamed at least. meanwhile is still get 2 shot by destros on ptr without any corruption

Yeah, but there’s a lot more abilities in the game that are considered ‘spells’ than there used to be, also I didn’t like the old design.

Nah glacial isn’t particularly good
But it was 60% of his damage, hitting for 180,000 to 270,000 damage. That is why he opened the thread.
Its not op says mage, ok, give all classes same attack that deal 350k dmg but its castable, lets see if you wont make same thread this is op that is op.
It isn’t OP though, isn’t gonna hit this hard in rated arena where people have vers. It’s not like chaos bolt either where you can get two out in a second with very little effort.
Do you even know how glacial spike works? You need to get 5 icicles before it’s even castable, meaning 5 frostbolts between each glacial. You also need to stack mastery to get huge glacials.
So yeah it’s basically like the one punch DH build except about 900 times worse.
If you’re running lucid, which you probably should as a Frost mage, you can generate icicles naturally by casting any spell, so it’s not entirely difficult to build enough for glacial. Once essences stop working however, I’m not too sure how efficient it will be in arenas.
so what, nobody should have attack that halves your hp. Not even close, or make Gpyro cost 50% of base mana so if you like fun cast it once and lose half of your mana, same with glacial if you wish to cast glacial lose 50% mana.
Same goes for warlocks, chaos bolt need cd timer of 10 sec so its not spammable.
Game would be more fun to play.
