Glacial Tidestorm Sit/ Ride Buggy Animation

It’s such a beautiful mount and it’s a real shame to have such a buggy / clunky riding animation. Especially, when the model already exists (Shaman Class mount & Shadowlands Mythic+ Mounts). At least, it would be a relief to know if they acknowledge that and if they have plans for the future.

I have made countless bug reports and submitted many feedbacks through in-game UI. So, I have decided to try the forums as well and honestly anywhere else I can.

It’s might not be special and important for most of the player base but for me it is and it makes me sad the fact that I cant use that mount :frowning: . If anyone reads that post and agrees with it, try to write a bug report and submit feedback, please.

I was searching for a Bug Report forum section, just like they have in the US, but for some reason, we do not have and I don’t think that that matter belongs to the EU Support section.

When you use that mount, you just sit and it looks weird. On other “elemental” mounts, you stand.
Also, while they’re at it, the Hippogryph mounts don’t have sound when you use /mountspecial

Huh, I’ve always felt that it looks better than standing on it… I thought that was something in its favour over standing.

I didn’t know that, I started my “crusade” again when I saw that they are “fixing” some animations from old mounts and I was like “I will try to motivate the community to ask for a fix”. I don’t know why Europe does not have a place in forums for such things…

Sadly it is not intended for sure… it is just buggy, half of the character models glitches inside the mounts graphic, Vulpera sinks over 50% of their model. Still, if they wanted us to just sit, there are animations of our characters sitting on something. They even could draw a “small opening” on top of the ice to justify why our model glitches, but no… nothing… its a bug and its ugly, I cant understand how people like it, but I can try understand it since I like the standing one.

I agree with the OP. Something that is buggy should be fixed, it shouldn’t be working like that in the first place and liking something that shouldn’t be there is not a solution.

Your post is off topic and nothing helpful.

We do not have one but you can level up to 10 for free on US servers and report it there.

It’s so weird. My characters have been standing on it until 9.2. hit. Then they were suddenly sitting down. I really, really hate that they are sitting down now, it looks so wrong as you are just clipped inside it. I hope they change it back, so you stand up again.

There are so many sitting animations… for example, they can add the character to sit just like they sit on the carpets… but don’t leave it that way :frowning:
