I mean 1800-2000 has different value in different seasons. Compare SL2 and SL4 seasons. It’s literally not even close.
The best strategy would be:
- mount at 2000
- mount cosmetics at 2100. 2200. 2300
- title at 2400
The best strategy imo is giving all rewards at the end of season based on % so everyone plays till the end of season.
In this case, no one will be playing during the season, only in the last few weeks

Glad should be for 2k in soloq with 2% Chance of obtaining unobtainable Elite tmog at 2,1+ 1% Chance of getting random glad mount after reaching 2,2.

Yes, people used to play because the game itself was fun.
Nowadays, however, that fun is often gone: random one-shots, unpredictable CC chains, interrupts, and other frustrating mechanics have taken its place.
Since the gameplay isn’t enjoyable anymore, rewards have become the main motivation to keep playing. But once players achieve their reward, they simply stop. On top of that, large gaps between rewards make players feel that the next milestone is out of reach, so many give up entirely.
Making rewards percentage-based would only widen these gaps and discourage even more players.
In my opinion, the best solution is to introduce smaller, more frequent reward steps. This way, players feel like the next goal is always within reach, encouraging them to push just a little further.
Imo it’s lazy bandaid instead of actually fixing the mess they self caused to rated system in dragonflight with shuffles.
Developers’ notes: We’ve seen feedback around the top end PvP rewards being extremely difficult to achieve in the more recent seasons. Our goal with this adjustment is to slightly ease the requirement while still maintaining the prestige that comes with attaining these rewards and titles.
So yeah, they have “received” feedback of people complain that arena died and got deflated cause they first add shuffle and then blitz into system which is mostly participation based for each rated modes separately. Then they are like “oh okay so in arena is harder to gain rating now, we lower the rank” instead of actually doing some rework and changes in their now outdated rated system or removing shuffle or implementing the actual soloq for arena what people always asked for.
Soloq in separate mmr that asks after 1 round whether people wish to continue as team and if they do they are put in different mmr against other people playing as team and ultimately people find teammates and playerbase have both soloq and way of forming groups and finding teammates faster than LFG. With the current design in game there is not even any need to find teammates if the most played mode is just shuffles and arena is deflated beyond any worth.
But hey instead of doing any changes that would actually take some thought and work, lets lower the rating requirement for something by say 100 points and call it job done, 55 euro for the expansion and 14 euro for sub thank you. Oh and lets add new unrated epic bg as bonus to the expansion, they will love that.

It will change in time imao. And we need it because we cant grow. We need more pvp players, we dont need R1 players ego. I’m 7xR1 player, i know some players are garbage and stuck at 1900-2300 raitings but its fine, they will be better in time. So we need more more pvp players and we all wants to have fun. So need a clockwork system for keeps us busy with pvp all season. We all need good rewards and good competition at every bracket. For good and fair competition, we need more players, more healers, more happy players.
