Gladiator Achievement Request for Shadowlands

Firstly, It would be cool if Gladiator was top 0.5% again, so that even in inflated seasons not too many people will get it like in BfA Season 1. Also the only people that have something to look forward to at the end of a season are R1 players currently.

Secondly, please give us good Gladiator mounts again. While Legion, Cataclysm and tbc mounts were absolutely amazing, WoD and BfA felt pretty bad in comparison. They should be easily distinguishable from PvE mounts and have some cool unique things like skulls or glow effects like the ones from Legion and tbc had. Considering that Gladiator is the hardest achievement in the game, it should also give cool mounts.
I’d say go with the normal dragon model that was used in Legion, tbc, cata and wotlk.

Yeah hardest acvhivement is stuff like lfr archi/kiljeaden/n’zoth on release and remaining sane :stuck_out_tongue:

That entirely depends on which achievements you will or will not include.

Yogg-Saron 0 keepers (Alone in the Darkness (25 player) was much harder than Gladiator back in its day.

Realm First! Grand Crusader.

World First achievements, back when those still existed.

Scarab Lord. (Original one, not the boost fest that’ll commence on current)

Pre-nerf Insane in the Membrane.

It also depends on which comb you play in Arena. Getting Gladiator can actually be a faceroll.

Edit: Also, which season’s Gladiator are you talking about? Because some are easier to get depending on your class and season.

The wording of OP suggest it’s hardest in the game, meaning hardest to obtain in the current game.
Not rarest or most respected among all time subs.

I honestly dunno what is hardest, even curious about it, that’s why I asked too see a debate :smirk:

None of the ones I listed are about rarity, just because they’re rare. In fact, they’re rare because they were so difficult.

Gladiator is rather easy. Especially now that you can hover around 2.4k.

Lemme rephrase it, can you think of any achievement obtainable now which is harder to obtain?

Probably any mythic last boss kill.

The most difficult PvP achievements right now is Rank-1 Gladiator. Not regular Gladiator.

Regular Gladiator is rather easy.

Dunno about how it is, but generally I have found that in early seasons it’s easier for me to proceed higher than my goal of unlocking mog ( before clock )
So I think in a very fast paced rng corruption fiesta of current season top pvp achievement might be harder than top pve.

But then again there is some sort of inflation which I also have no idea about, but it’s mentioned by OP. So maybe Nzoth is harder.

Anyway I am glad second last boss of expansion drops ugly mount I don’t want :slight_smile:
It was nice of devs that they have made Jaina mount ez to obtain :slight_smile:

Dunno, but one can safely assume it should be cheaper for horde player.

While that is true, Rank 1 is a feat of strength and not a regular achievement. You don’t have to get rank 1 to fill your achievement tab, so I wasn’t counting it as an achievement.

Around 400 euro on boosters website (which is ofc illegal). If we convert to tokenwise, around 4m gold.

They never existed. Only realm first achievements existed.

It was a boost fest back in vanilla as well lol. By the time the event dropped, everyone in a serious guild had BWL on farm, and the people who got the mount (the title was implemented in TBC) had guildies, supporters and lots of gold to bribe people to help with the Brood of Nozdormu rep grind.

The only hard part of getting the mount…was to make people agree to let you get it and help you.
