How do you get these weapons, ive heard you have to wait 6 months for timewalking and a 5% drop chance on one glaive … id say surely not but its blizzard, the best looking glaives obviously have been deleted from the legion appearances unless you got it 7 year ago which is ridicolous seeing as every glaive in the game looks total trash apart from the azzinoth glaives and the removed artifact one.
Can you just farm these glaives or is it actually one of them you could have to farm for the rest of your life during timewalking and still not get them. Im quitting shortly due to how much of ball ache it is to get anything that looks good … or its been removed. Not interested in new gear it all looks crap.
You can farm this glavie every week, you don’t need the time walking to drop them. You just need to do the time walk once, to transmog them.
Got them both in one month, but farming thunderfury forever.

Yeah, but you got the order wrong. First grind out those warglaives on a char that can equip them, with a drop rate of 5% each. Then you equip them for the initial achievement. And then you wait 6 months for timewalking. This time you only need it once, which will reward you with the second achievement and the appearance.
If they haven’t changed them from Legion you first need to get both glaives on a a character that can use them (Dh, Rogue, Warrior, DK), equip them so you can get the achievement and then wait for a TBC timewalking event so you can kill Illidan in the TW version of the raid and then you unlock the appearance. You can farm the glaives weekly from the normal BT and make sure to have the achievement before you kill Illidan TW.
I ask that you refer to them by their proper name, The Twin Blades of Azzinoth.

Yeah I missed monk and maybe something else, I was going off the top of my head. Also Idk if it’s true or it was just a rumor but DHs get a slightly increased drop chance on the drops, mine got both of them in 5 runs in total.
Sure, the proper name of the set is ‘The Twin Blades of Azzinoth’, but no even Blizzard is adherent about referring to the set name, as seen in the achievement:

As a guy who went back to WOW, I didn’t understand a thing 
first you have have to farm both main hand and off hand on character that can use them.after that you you will get achievement then you have to kill illidan on timewalking.not sure if you have to do it with a character that you farm blade of azzinoth with
