Glyph of devine steed?

i used it on my lvl 37 Human paladin and it says my Divine steed will now be a charger instead of my racial mount…but i bought it for like 4.9k and used it and my divine steed was the same as it was before i used the glyph…how? why make an item taht expensive when it did not do anything

Umm maybe because human paladins mount racial and paladin mounts are horses. For taurens and zandalari trolls is kudo, dont know about the rest.

it charged me 4.9k and i was able to use it so idk if that is the case…

Mistakes were made, my advice is know about the stuff youll buy if its expensive.

Have u changed spec after applying it? Cause i think u need to apply one glyph for each spec.

But u can check in your spellbook if the glyph is applied to the spell. But i think u need to apply it to every spec. As an example i have applied the glyph to make my ghost wolf into a spectral wolf. When i applied it to the ghost wolf spell i was in resto spec, so when i go ghost wolf in resto its spectral wolf. When i use ghost wolf in elemental its the ordinary ghost wolf form. The glyph for divine steed works for my draenei pally at least, turning my elekk into a horse.

Please i know this… i told gm he said this is a bug and that i have to make report…the bug is that u are able to use it on humans , not that it dont change the charger cuz it already was a charger on humans unglyped

The glyph is fine, it is meant for OTHER races to set their mount to the original human mount.

Thus it grants draenei a boon as their elephant is often too big to fit through doors, if you want different mount visual as human then do the paladin order hall mount quests which grants 3 variants, for free basically.

Why did you use it on a human in the first place … this is on you honestly.

^This. The human charger is the default for humans as their racial, so you wasted 4.9K. If you were a Dwarf, your devine steed would be a ram, this glyph changes it to the human charger.

I don’t think the glyph actually specifies that it is the same mount that humans get already.

“Your Divine Steed is a charger instead of your racial mount.”

That’s the info you see at the AH. For someone not native English this is a difficult one to figure out. Charger sounds like something really cool, or maybe a device to power up the mobile phone… Not a boring human horse… :upside_down_face: :rofl: So I fully see OPs frustration.

The human paladin Mount is literally called a “charger”
And the glyph says “turns it into a charger”

I mean…

But ok, I guess a newer player wouldn’t know either

Glyph makes your “devine” steed a charger.

The racial steed mount for human paladins is a charger.

Now this takes wisdom, when your racial mount is a charger, and the glyph gives you a charger, what shall you receive?

There is another issue at play here tho as a newer player may assume that the glyph changes the horse into a charge rather than the human horse.

Your Divine Steed is a charger instead of your racial mount.

By overlooking the “r” this can make it rather confusing.
