Glyph support thread

Hi,

I think, maybe, BFA being closer to his ending rather than his beginning, we may have hope for the next expansion. So, two things, like million posts before mine

  1. Glyph of jab : replace the tiger palm animation with the old or a new jab animation, unsheathing and striking with our weapon. (WW and MW).
  2. Glyph of Sheilun : Revival now spawn an image of Sheilun, like the artifact revival of legion. (MW).

Brewmasters are too cool already, they don’t need new glyphs

All I really want an alternate less obtrusive rushing jade wind. If it was BRM themed that would be even cooler

Please something that makes windwalker weapons more then just for show!

The only thing stopping me from rolling a monk and maining it forever is no glyph to make your character actually swing their weapons. I like the monk ability animations, I just wish my auto-attack had some steel there!

I like no weapon. Feels more monk to me

I agree on

However I think it’s weird that some spells is with and some without weapons. It is ridiculous seeing my monk repeatedly sheathe and unsheathe during a fight.

Weapon or no weapon… the animations should just stick to one or the other.

Agreed. All staves and polearms should be held like the brewmaster artifact staff

I loVe how ww plays, but dislike the fact that weapons are never used. Would be nice to have a glyoh that would change non kicking attacks and auto attacks to actual weapon swings :frowning:

The worst thing is fist weapons. There is no excuse for fist weapons to disappear during animations.

I have a sweet pair of thunder fists but I don’t see them half the time. Its a joke.

But giving people a glyph which gives us an option that makes your character to actually use the weapon would not take anything away from you.

When blizzard made WW only dual wield and made weapons just a stat stick was when i lost interest to my monk.

One of the reasons i dislike casters too i hate static stat stick that just hang on my back.

Monks are fun to play, but warrior and paladin graphics and sound effects are so much more impressive. Monk skills have a lot of understated “whoosh” sound effects without flashy visual effects, whereas warriors constantly make a lot of noise with heroic leap and thunder clap, and paladins make the whole screen glitter and sparkle. :slightly_frowning_face:

It would be nice if monks get some updates in this area in Shadowlands.
