Pandaren would be even better IMHO. Imagine being able to tap into the powers of your homeland to transform into Xuen feral form, Cloud Serpent flight form, Giant Coy fish aquatic form, Niuzao for Guardian maybe.

Goblins and Gnomes meca druids with meca cats and meca bear forms
I think it’s a great idea!
I would also like to see Gnome Paladins.
Vulpera druids as well!
Cat form can be a sand cat or fennec fox.
Bear form can be a honey badger. (I just really like honey badgers, those tough little guys).
Stag form / ground travel form can be: camel, dromedary, kangaroo (carry a friend in your pouch! Though I do not recommend trying to fit a Tauren in there.), a roadrunner, antelope, bighorn sheep or a pronghorn.
Flight form: vulture, red-tailed hawk, or a turkey vulture
Treant form: just a desert shrub or a moving cacti.
Keep in mind the animals would have to slightly smaller versions since Vulperas are small!

But then Blizzard can bent the lore anyway they want…
Personally, i like the idea of class restrictions with races…
Except for humans, they should by deffinition be able to play all classes and specs…
Ok just give all class/races combinations and it’s done. 
There are too many combinations available “in my opinion”.
Anyway, if I could choose it would be Dwarves with Stone forms.
Lore means nothing in this game. It was rewritten too many times.

Yeah, but the technical addept Gnomes stand so far away from nature that its not logical to become druids…
One might argue we are closer to the Earth than any other race
