Gnome Paladins in Patch 11.0.7: It's Already Happening Everywhere—Why Aren't They In World of Warcraft Yet?!

Alright Blizzard, I need to speak my truth here. Gnome Paladins are already a thing, and not just in the deep recesses of my dreams—no, no. You’ve already made them real in other games and media, so what’s the hold-up in World of Warcraft? Why are we still sitting here, wondering why a tiny, holy warrior in shining armor isn’t charging into battle, swinging a glowing hammer the size of their body? This is getting ridiculous.

Let’s break this down, because I’m furious and also deeply disappointed. Gnome Paladins exist in both Hearthstone and the Legion Order Hall, and yet we still don’t have them in WoW? Are you kidding me? This is more confusing than a Gnome engineer trying to explain how a toaster works.

Hearthstone Already Gave Us Gnome Paladins.

Let’s start with Hearthstone—yes, that card game you somehow have time to make, but can’t spare a few hours to make Gnome Paladins a reality in World of Warcraft? In Hearthstone—the card game—you’ve got Gnome Paladins. You know, the tiny holy warriors wielding holy powers and fighting with righteous fury, all while looking like they might explode into a cloud of gears and sparkles at any given moment. You’ve already made a card for the Gnome Paladin archetype, and it’s one of the coolest cards in the game. You can’t tell me you don’t have the creative juice to make them an actual playable race and class combo in WoW. Are you seriously telling me that the people at Blizzard had the time and energy to come up with a card version of Gnome Paladins but couldn’t make it a reality in World of Warcraft?

I mean, if a Gnome can wield the Light, summon a mechanical steed, and look adorable while doing it in a card game, why can’t we do that in Azeroth? This isn’t even a distant dream. It’s already been done—just on a smaller scale. So what’s the excuse now?

The Legion Order Hall—We’ve Seen It, We Know It’s Possible.

Now, let’s talk about the Legion Order Hall. For those who’ve forgotten, or just haven’t played WoW in a while (cough, Blizzard, cough), the Gnomes already had a Paladin presence in the form of their own Order Hall quests in Legion. You gave us a whole area where Gnomes were working with Paladins, including famous Gnome NPCs such as Chronomancer Theron. In the Paladin Order Hall, there were Gnome characters working as part of the class’s storyline, interacting with the Light in a serious way. You were practically hinting that Gnomes could be Paladins in the future, so why are we still waiting?!

You’ve shown us that Gnomes have a place within the world of Paladins in the lore and in the Order Halls, yet there’s been nothing since. That feels like a punch to the face, Blizzard. Here we are, waiting for this obvious pairing to happen, and you’re giving us everything EXCEPT Gnome Paladins. Is it a test? A tease? Because I’m about to lose my mind over here.

Imagine this: a Gnome Paladin standing side by side with a Night Elf or Draenei Paladin, wearing shiny armor (that fits, obviously), wielding a giant holy sword, with a mechanical steed and a sparkly aura that looks like a combo of holy power and fireworks. If we can have a mechanical dragon in the game, we can absolutely have mechanical holy steeds. It makes no sense to leave Gnomes out of the Paladin club when they’re already dipping their tiny toes into it in every other Blizzard game.

Gnome Paladins = Literally The Best Thing Ever. Why Wouldn’t You Make This Happen?

Let’s talk aesthetics one more time. Gnome Paladins would be a visual delight. They could have glowing hammers that look way too big for their tiny bodies. You could give them adorable little golden armor sets, or maybe even some mechanical armor that makes them look like a cross between a knight and an engineer. You’ve got the potential for hilarious mounts—imagine Gnomes riding in on tiny mechanical Holy Choppers or robotic war steeds that glow with holy power. And let’s not forget the emotes—tiny, holy warriors doing victory dances, casting holy buffs, or even just flexing their tiny muscles as they wield the Light like a chaotic, holy genius.

Gnomes would give the Paladin class a level of joyful chaos that no other race could match. They’d take the solemnity of the Paladin and add a whole new layer of humor, because let’s face it—it’s funny to watch a tiny Gnome carry a big hammer and shout about justice. It’s a meme. It’s perfect. It would be the meme of all memes.

Final Thoughts—Enough is Enough, Blizzard. Bring Us Gnome Paladins!

So what do we have here, Blizzard? Gnome Paladins have appeared in Hearthstone, they’ve been part of the Paladin Order Hall in Legion, and they’re already a huge part of Gnome lore. They’ve got the moral fiber, the righteous energy, and the mechanical genius. They’re just begging for their chance to shine on the grand stage of World of Warcraft. So why haven’t you given them the Paladin spotlight they so desperately deserve?

This isn’t just about adding a class and race combination. This is about bringing justice, honor, and a mechanical flare to the game. I demand it. The Gnome race deserves it, and the world of Azeroth would be better for it.

Blizz litterally said if your race can be a priest , they can be a Paladin.

Most Paladins in wow lore started as priests.

Also it’s the Dwarves who taught the light to the Gnomes and Humans
Naturally they would have taught the light to Gnomes first , somehow playable Gnome priest only in cata but Gnomes can be warrs and Priest so Paladins should be there.

There’s Gnome palas /Crusader in Woltk. Gnome paladin in Hearthstone. Gnome pala in the Paladin order hall.

I’m guessing they aren’t allowed in lights hop chapel as they would blow up immediately on entry? Damn little devils.

Sounds like Goblin Engineering.

Good grief, what is wrong with your profile picture? I feel blinded!

I think we will get Paladins for most/everyone in Midnight.
