What is the quickest way to get gnomeregan rep? trying to get to exalted with gnomeregan for the heritage armor!

To be honest, pick up the tabard, Hit New Tinkertown and pick up the quests there (Unless you are actually rolling a Gnome for this), play through all of the starting two zones. You get some other quests in Wetlands, Kelsey Steelspark has some quests in Gadgetzan (Well, Tanaris in general, but they start in Gadgetzan) that will bump up your rep, There is also Toshley’s Station in Blades Edge Mountains. Assuming you’re high enough level, put on that tabard and just go solo some older dungeons like the Wrath stuff, if I remember right, it -should- give you Rep per mobs killed. The Tabard used to be sold by an NPC called Trini in Ironforge. You’ve then got the Commendations you can get by championing Gnomeregan at the Argent Tournament in Icecrown.

Grab the Gnomeregan tabard from the vendor at the flightmaster in Ironforge, go to Mechanar dungeon in Outlands (Netherstorm) for high mob density in a small area and run it a few times to get quick rep.

Can you pick up every mob in there then just AoE them all at once? I want to get the rep quickly for another race. My char is 113.

If I remember rightly yeah you should be able to. It’s not especially long either.

Thanks, I’ll pick up the tabard and give it a go. If my memory serves me it’s a 5 man dungeon so that’s 10 times an hour.

That’s right, and you should be able to get around 2600 rep per run.

From limited testing (with a dwarf hunter to get the ironforge rep) old dungeon give you 4 rep points per mob and 80 per boss. Legion dungeons on the other hand don’t give any rep point per mob but do award 300 rep points per boss (on heroic and mythic, haven’t tested normal).

I still haven’t decided what’s the most efficient way to do it considering all that.

Tabard and running round and round the Mechanar til you get dizzy has always been the quickest way for me.

I am getting 15/30 per mob and an occasional 120 and 300 per boss, on a 113 tauren hunter, no pet.

Ok, so I did a little more testing and you are right when it comes to TBC dungeons (I tested WoD, Cata and Legion).

I must say it really is counter intuitive that 10 years old dungeons are the ones that give you the easiest reputation.

I am now at exalted from mid honoured in about an hour.

The exit just after the last boss is great so is the 2500 gold I made running it. Plus about 25 greens, mostly for transmog.

Edit: though it seems all the bots were at the botanica

the botanica normal is a fast one to get rep

I just grinded mechanar and it took me about an hour and a half to get from honored to exalted, thanks guys, im now so much closer to my first heritage armour set :smiley:
