Greetings, I play gnome Warrior, Rogue, Hunter etc. But my Main character is a shaman and Dwarf. But I would really like to change her into a Gnome.
If any Blizzard developer sees this, I would like to thank them if they would bring this up in the next developer meeting because I really like playing as a gnome

10 years ago, I would have opposed this idea.
Now however, the lore is dead and even Blizzard donât care anymore, so why not.
I think it is pretty tragic we are at a point where gnome shamans are seen as a âgood ideaâ and we have stuff like tauren rogue. it never should have been allowed to get to this point.
Shouldâve kept it how it was at classic rather than started down this slippery slope. It makes the classes and races feel loads less special when everyone can be everything. itâs too late now to change it but if there is a WoW 2 hopefully this nonsense wonât start.
The lore is dead since MoP and WoD
But Legion made very good stories
But then BFA and Shadowlands made very bad stories
So it is time to see âall classes to all racesâ even Nightborne and Worgen Demon Hunter
I think Blizzard have given up on Gnomes. Theyâre not the cutest race anymore.
Focus is on Vulperas.
Gnome Shamans do need a heck of a back story - even a new subcategory of Gnomes with as strong bounds to the elementals as the Dwarfs. And it would be natural to throw in Gnome Druids as well with such an update.
Iâm not saying it wont work, but these kind of class/race combinations canât come out of nowhere. Even Gnome Paladins is more compatible with the lore at the moment.

MoP was the last time we ever had a compelling vilain.
Meanwhile, in Legion, they brought everyone back for fan service, every paladin in town had Ashbringer (more fanservice) and was the Chosen One.
Kilâjaeden summoned 15 ships next to Dalaran, commanded them to burn it to ash, and nothing happened. Demons are reborn when they die so they could even have kamikazed the ships into Dalaran but instead they stood there doing nothing.
And by the end of the expansion we raid the Legionâs homeworld with legit 2 spaceships lmao.
Even no one asked to play and add pandaren back in Cataclysm

In fact. Legion made very good stories when it comes around from Azsuna, Valâsharah, Suramar and Stormheim but I dislike Highmountain story, I was also interesed with Broken Shore when it shared similarities to Warcraft 3
Another part I dislike is Argus, they could have made a portal instead taking the ships, another messed part is âWe cannot fly in Argusâ because it doesnât belong to Azeroth, this is another planet of Twisting Nether

Everything is a portal nowadays. The world feels smaller and less immersive for it.
We need more ships and zeppelins.

Not a fan of the âeveryone can be anythingâ concept. Itâs just a real life philosophy (a fake one at that) that was for some reason implemented into WoW.
I found the stereotypes based on Warcraft 3 (such as Orc Shamans, Human Paladin etc.) to make the game much more immersive than this âany race can eventually be whoever they want to beâ. Itâs a medieval fantasy game, there should be stereotypes.
The fact that the lore was made dumb cough Shadowlands shouldnât be an excuse to make it more dumb.
goblins are more⌠âtribalâ but i agree. they definitely bribed elementals.
Iâm not that familiar with the lore behind Goblin Shamans, but I canât imagine the elementals being that open for bribes. My bet is control and enslavement of the elementals.
