Gnome shamans

I love shamans but i don’t like any of the races that can be shamans.

Please, add new race/class options, even if it doesn’t make sense, who cares, we had undead priests since vanilla.

No.

Why not? Goblins can be shamans.

I think only reason why blizz wont lift those restrictions is the fact that they would have more work to do. Bunch of new forms for all the druids, totems for shamans etc.

I mean undead druid would ne fantastic. Dont you think? Imagine gnome paladin with their little mecha mounts. Its great!

Just drop class restrictions altogether. Races are so intertwined now that it would be ridiculous to not see anyone seeking out martial arts outside of their home country.

Now you say that, but would you actually play that? And by play I mean actually invest months or years into one, instead of a week end leveling session.

I play on Silvermoon, the largest alliance hub. And I can tell you gnomes are not a popular race. Mechagnomes are the same thing. Investing more into them is simply not a good idea. They are fine for story development and lore, but when it comes to actually playing a gnome, very few people enjoy it.

If popularity was the deciding factor then Dwarf females would have been deleted from the game decade and a half ago. More choice is never bad and i would definitely roll a UD druid or tauren rogue.

I see you decided to very conveniently not answer my question to you investing time to play a gnome.

And I do agree, UD druids would be cool, so would Tauren rogues. But they would not make any sense in terms of lore. Tauren trackers might be the closest to a stalking type, but that would be covered by hunters.

And undead are about as far from druidic as you can get with their blight and stuff.

I’ve been wanting Worgen Shamans for the longest time, if they gave blood elves Paladin, (alliance class for the alliance’s horde race), why not do the opposite for the horde class on the horde’s alliance race?

I might, im not big into shamans you see. But there is other combinations that would be fun. Also goblin shamans are pretty much as far from spirits as ud are from nature in my estimation.

I just think these class/race restrictions are pointless relics of the past and will probably be lifted at some point when blizz has to pad their quarterly earnings due to latest goof. Just like horde and alliance had shamans/paladins faction locked and then lifted they might do just that with these restrictions.

Atleast i think it would be cool.

As far as I know goblin shamans make contracts with the spirits, its silly but something a goblin would definitely do if there was profit in it.

When it comes to the class/race restrictions, they may open them up over time like dwarves and trolls, who can basically be almost anything. I hope they won’t do that.

The community is behind you on this one OP

I fully support Gnomes having access to more classes.

One of my goals in the not too distant future is to have every healer at max level, pushing M+15, even on the alts (mains obviously higher). I have a Mechagnome Monk, a Mechagnome priest - sadly my paladin, shaman and druid can’t be Gnomes yet. If any of them could be, I’d race change in a heartbeat.

Shamanish and gnomes don’t belong together.

Just like tinkers and trols, dh and trols, etc.

Blood elf shaman, please :slightly_smiling_face:

Ofc, most of my chars are gnome, i love ele shaman, but i don’t like most of the races for it.

Said the person who most definitely is NOT the spokesperson for the community.

I’d love to see goblin druids!

Why play a game and then demand that it have all life and lore drained from it…?
