Goblin Cartels Renown 8 - Expert Haggler

I might be a bit dense, but reaching renown level 8 with the Cartels gave me the resonance crystals, but no (at least) visible interaction with the quartermaster to gain increased rewards like the description. Here’s the description: Speak to Smaks Topskimmer at The Incontinental Hotel in Undermine to learn how to better haggle with your contacts, gaining a 50% chance for increased rewards.

May I ask how you made it to rep level 8? I did everything that gives rep, unless I missed something, but hardly made it to level 6.

I had the same yesterday, I was like ok just a quest then, no item on vendor and no special interaction.

Don’t forget we have darkmoon faire starting today so you can get a buff but I did hit 8 yesterday by doing the following:-

  • Do unlock for zone
  • Campaign Quests
  • Side Quests
  • Weekly Quests
  • Bountiful Delves until you get the rep for Cartel
  • Ara Kara quest from Dornogal for Cartel Rep
  • World Quests
  • Rares (daily)

Came here for the same thing, no noticable action that we got this Expert Haggler while the text says to talk to Smaks.

At renown 6 I also didnt get the weathered crests. Feels like the Council of Dornogal all over, where some players didnt get any of those rewards (rewards that will not matter in a few weeks down the line, but hey…)

That is only if you’re very lucky I think. I’m also doing bountiful delves each day. You dont always get reputation and if you get it, it can still be for the other 4 factions

They only throw rep the first time I killed them like 2 days ago. No more rep from them ever since.

A GM just confirmed in my ticket that it will be available at the start of the season.

Not really luck. Five reps, so at most five bountiful Delves over the course of one week.

You dont want renown 8 before reset else you lose key!

I did 4 bountiful delves every day last week. Only 1 of them gave rep (council of dornigal rep). Can’t remember if that was from the 1 bounty map i got and used. So I would say luck is involved

It does have to be bountiful and you do have to use a coffer key.

Back on topic; Renown 11 reward Scrappy S.C.R.A.P.per III same thing.
It says talk to Smaks but he has nothing
