Going forward from 120

So I’ve had quite a long break and just returned, apparently a lot has changed.

I understand there is a special neck and back now. I also understand that casual pvp has changed (no vendors) and max Ilvl is around 475.

What do I do between now and next xpac to prepare and gear up as best I can? I will prob not be raiding other than lfg and Have no idea what a mythic plus key is.

What’s all this vision malarkey?!

It’s quite a lot to take in to be fair, hence seeking your wisdom.

Just level to 120 and most things should fall into place

M+ is a difficulty above mythic where you use special items called keystones to increase the difficulty and rewards of a specific dungeon. Every week you get a chest with items depending on how hard your hardest dungeon was that week.

Visions are very unpopular but are the only way to empower a legendary cloak and deal with corrupted gear. The intro questline should explain it.

Don’t pvp so can’t help you there.

If you’re confused by something ask someone in your guild or look online. Personally I use wowpedia and wowhead for info.

As for levels, just ignore that. Everyone at 120 is going to become level 50, and the cap will be 60. Other levels will be scaled down similarly, and you can level in an xpac from 10-50.
Welcome back buddy!

Once you’ve levelled to 120 follow through your war campaign, be sure to unlock Nazjatar. It will all eventually lead you to start you cloak which you upgrade doing Horrific Visions until you get to rank 15.
