I need to send gold from my Horde alts to my Alliance main.

  1. What is the easiest way to do this theese days?

  2. Why is it not possible to send gold between factions via mail?

Have an alliance friends post something on the AH for the price you want to transfer- Buy it with your horde main - Trade the gold to your alliance character.

You can’t trade cross faction via mail because with the current system you lose 5% of the gold, which is a plus for Blizzard.

Easiest, or safest, or cheapest?

The easiest, safest, and cheapest is to have a friend on the other faction, who’s willing to trade golds.

Another reasonably cheap is to have two accounts, put some white trash on the AH on alliance for a lot of gold, and buy it on the other account on Alliance. You can also ask an alliance friend to post the item, and buy it on horde.

A third method would be considerably more expensive, but still safe: contact one of the established boosting communities, they usually offer gold trading services too.

A fourth would be to put the money on horde side in a gbank, and faction change the guild. That lets you transfer 10m gold in one go, rather than the 2m faction change lets you. If you don’t have more than 2m, you can just faction change. Can even use some of the gold to buy the faction change, depending on how much you have, if you don’t want to spend IRL money.

Or buy a megapile of accountbound guildtabards and send them

(the very expensive alternative, ingame gold that is)

No , but you can snipe friends transffering goods with that method = easy profit :smiley:

Thye need to introduce legacy storage like in swtor. Actually this game have a lot of altfriendly stuff. They need just copy.

the same reason why you cant talk to them, do content with them or be in a guild with them.

I think i should be able to control my own gold and use it how i want, should be possible to send between my own characters no matter factions.

Lotsa ways to do it, a more longer way to do it battle pets. Buy expensive battle pets on Alliance and sell as Horde, no friends required. Probably look at the rate of sale for the pets and stuff though.
