Gold making

hello guys im new im watched several videos from videos that i watched someone made a lot gold from tailoring enchanting now im doing also tailoring and echanting professions and cant get any profits can someone please give me some tips

You make money at the start of expansions when mats are rare and demand is high.

Now we’re late in the expansion, mats are cheap and plentiful and demand is low.

You can partially ignore all those clickbait vids. A decent way to make (a bit) of gold is to use low quality mats and concentration to make a “good quality” enchant every x days and wait for the concentration bar to refill.

You’ll need gold to make gold.

Do all the Gold WQs [10% more with War Mode on], weekly caches and Side Gigs in Undermine that yield 800+g. Main WQs rotate twice a week [weekly reset, 5pm Sat], and others daily with PvP WQs often offering gold themselves. That should yield around 15-18k per week PER character.

Use this gold to level up your profession, getting the profession equipment and get Knowledge Points with. Some professions are awful to catch up KP on [stuck to daily/x2 weekly] while others are quickly done. You’ll want to be efficient at crafting

For professions, avoid gathering this late in – fishing still makes a decent sum though [20-30g per fish, with Slum Sharks going for 500+g each].

The real money maker will always be what’s always in demand, i.e. consumables. So that’ll be enchants/weaves/flasks&potions/food. Making Rank 3 Flasks and Enchants nets me around 45k per week currently using up concentration – never let it sit at 1000 going to waste!

So we’re looking at around 65+k made per week, not including vendoring all the junk you come across, before venturing onto other gold making paths.

Side note – since you’re going enchanting weigh the worth the potential mats are from disenchanting vs vendor sale. More often than note it’s more worthwhile to just vendor loot than to DE it, especially Epics where R3 Cystals go for 45g when the item would vendor for 100-180g. Addons like Oribos Exchange also tell you the average AH value of them so they might be worth AH’ing off instead. Use Auctionator to quickly throw random mats you come across onto the AH.

Also there is low content farm.

There are a few items from old expansion that are really worth the farm (example volatile fire/water).

I have started to try them and while some did not paid out i found a few ones where i manage to get aroud 13-15k gold per hour.

I am paying TWW on my main accout with gold and probably will do the same with this one.

Currently im making a few gold running tw dungeons with twinks and vendoring everything. its not a gold mine but its a few thousand gold per hour

You make money on professions before the guides are made. The moment it becomes popular, the profit goes down the drain as the average player is pretty stupid and going to lower the price and items become less rare as more people crafting them. The cost of concentration use before people find out about some enchants, was insane. I was making few millions every three days for weeks. Now as everyone is doing it, it’s not that rare anymore. And the price is pretty meh

It’s not about the matts (unless you are farming) as someone who doesn’t do any gold making claimed here.

Atm for new player the best thing to do is farming/gathering (13k per hour or so) or crafting gear with res tools

Solheim gaming is the best for gold making. But the way you make gold is to adapt his thinking and be first before he makes the guide

On top of what some people suggested here you’ll require a multiple titan tons of time and dedication.

Engineering multicraft do jumping cables and inspiration ring haste (reach 42% insp) enchants on 10 chars 2 times a week.
Its not worth you’re time atm.

You can also farm raids, i did the end raid of shadowlands and i got around 2k

Listen to me and no one else; everyone in this thread will give you bad advice, or the advice they do give, the time and effort won’t net you the outcome you want.

Here’s what you do:

Buy tokens, enough to get you 1 million gold in-game.
Let’s say you’re selling enchants, sell them at a loss, undercut everyone.

This beginning stage is about moving the product, not necessarily making a profit.

Your competitors will be forced to match your prices if they want to move their product. When they do, they will be selling at a loss. You then buy up all of their enchants and put them back up on the Auction House at their regular price.

Your competition now works for you, they’re your employees.

You need to have the correct mindset when playing the Auction House.

Going into it, trying to make money is the quickest way to lose money.

Your mindset should be to prevent everyone else from making money selling enchants, even if it costs you.

That 1 million gold you bought with tokens is how much you’re willing to lose to prove a point to your competition.

If you get Botanica its a real gold maker about 1200g per run if you loot everything.

  • enchanting makes money by selling mats
any multi procced mats you make, use for enchanting and sell enchants

for example if i proc a 7x disenchant for a rank 3 dust, ill sell 6 and keep 1
eventually you’ll build enough procs to make an enchant

  • or you can do the Disenchant shuffle
this involves buying an item cheap disenchanting it and selling all mats for profit

usually done with darkmoon cards

you can run lvl 1 delves for guaranteed loot to disenchant too, which is what most people do

green items make the most Gold
epic items are not worth at the moment

tailoring makes most money with bags or Weaving
so sell dusk or dawn weave rank 3 or sell bags
